I had to replace my small Kitchen Aid blender I used for several years. So wanted the same make again due to its reliability in the kitchen. I decided to buy the middle sized Blender/Chopper/Slicer. It's more amazing than I expected. I have to blend food for a sick relative daily and the blender is so reliable for everything I need. The slicer and Chopper are also useful and saves a lot of time too. I also think the price is good for the amount of jobs my new blender is capable of. Stours were very quick with delivery which I needed as a carer for my relative. I will definitely shop with Stours again.

My box with my beautiful Onyx machine was delivered about an hour ago,and in very quick time from my Order being placed.It is my Christmas gift from me to me.I’ve lusted after a Kitchen Aid for years but couldn’t afford the full large machine. Now I don’t bake as much,but struggle with chopping and slicing. I am looking forward so very very much to using my lovely,new machine.Starting now! Chopping onions for a Chilli that’s going in my slow cooker. I love to batch cook.Oh and I was nicely surprised at the size of my machine. SOoooo pleased. Thankyou for the Easy Pays too.

It is lovely for making a really nice pesto too. If you add water to it, you can easily clean it (see the videos). I haven't used it for kneading, but it definitely looks like it could to that properly too. The only slight problem I have with it, if you want to make a base for soup you may have to use it twice as the volume (1.7L) is not a lot if you have eaters over. That then lights up, so you know the sound the machine is making, is associated with it’s speed. The third switch works as a pulse: The kitchenaid processes food only when pushed. Might come in handy when you want to cut your carrot only into big parts. Cleaning can be done easy: the processor with a wet cloth, the bowl, lid and all the parts you’ve used can go in the dishwasher. And come out clean and ready to use.

In no time all stems are processed in half moons. Then the bell pepper and onion ...woow this is so fast that you have to be careful that it does not become too small mushy piece. Because of the small opening you have to cut the vegetables into pieces yourself otherwise it really does not fit through the opening. It takes some getting used to but the time savings are great, the cleaning is also done in no time. Rinse with lukewarm water, store loose blades and you're done! After the vegetables I tried the next knife, making dough. Fresh from the mill loosen dough and yeast in the mixing bowl, add oil and water and start. This gives a lot of power, what is striking is that the machine is not very well fixed on the counter and starts dancing, pay attention to this! Within five minutes a beautiful solid dough... let it rise, go into the oven and a delicious foccaccio bread on the table! A day later I also tried this with dough for apple pie. This turned out to be too thick and too much for this machine, the dough is thrown around and sticks to the side. It mixes ok, but you have to knead further by hand.
