Color: matte black. I had Kitchenaid 5 cup food processor for over 20 years and the lid broke, I tried to order replacement, but Kitchenaid said it was too old of a model. So I ordered this instead. This is such a cute and compact food chopper that takes up little space on my baker’s rack. This is a food chopper and not a food processor that was my mistake. Just make sure to read the description so you order the right product. There are no buttons for continuous spinning, just a pulsing button that is built into the lid. You cannot turn this machine on and walk away. I like how the lid has a spout to slowly pour in liquids, very neat idea. It performs well and solid quality piece. It is relatively quiet food processor. I had a Ninja food processor and that machine ... MoreColor: matte black. Now the challenges with this machine, it has a learning curve. You have to attach the base just right and then turn to hear it click in place, be patient. If not locked in place correctly the machine won’t turn on. The power button is on the lid close to the handle, you pulse until you get the right consistency. I mainly use this to make pie crust. 1 pie crush with butter completely fills this container, but I love using the spout to add the water to combine the dough. It gets 4 stars because it is not as easy to use, but it is a quality product.

I purchased my new chopper about a month ago and love it.It’s small enough to leave out on my benchtop and so simple to use. I have a large food processor which I have held on to just in case I wanted to go back to it but now I will be getting rid of it now.Getting all the pieces out of a cupboard, putting it together, then having to wash its countless parts, and put it all back in the cupboard is not something I want to do ever again.I love my new little chopper which suits my lifestyle totally and with one blade and the 3.5 cup container, it’s super easy to clean and makes the job of chopping a breeze. Also, the onboard cord storage is a bonus, keeping it compact and less messy if left out.

I make every curry with her help.My curry recipeChop onions and saute. Meanwhile chop ginger garlic and chillies. Saute along with onions. Add your spices and mix well. While it is done puree one tomato.and keep aside Saute well once raw smell is gone add pureeed tomato. Hard work is done. Now add chicken or veggies. . Close with lid and cook till done.
I purchased this Mini Food Chopper recently as an additional processor for smaller food prep. I already have the larger food processor which I absolutely love. The mini has just added to my collection and is so easy to use for all the small processing jobs I need to do when in the kitchen. I dont know why I didnt get it earlier. Its so easy to use and very versatile for so many different food prep requirements. Also its very easy to clean which helps with the more messy food prep items. Great product, stores away easily. Love my Mini Chopper :)
I had to wait nearly 4 weeks for the stock, but it was worth it. The blade is super sharp so be careful. I chose the mini due to lack of storage, thinking that the wattage may be too low. I was wrong, you can chop, whip almost puree anything in this. You just need to do a few batches and you honestly don't need the large one. I have the mixer in Empire Red to match and it's never faulted. Quality lasts so it's worth it. One thing to note, on the cheaper competitors, the blade is smaller and finer, this blade is a decent size, hence why it works well.Lots of online reviews talked about the lid being difficult to get on and off. The first twist off was tricky and I can see what people mean, but after that, it is an easy pull clockwise to remove it and anti-clockwise ... MoreI had to wait nearly 4 weeks for the stock, but it was worth it. The cord tucks neatly into a groove and the blade, lid and bowl are dishwasher safe.I just made sauce and chopped up some over ripe tomatoes, sugo made in seconds.
This 3.5 cup food chopper really is the perfect size for us as a couple travelling in our caravan around Australia 💕It is very powerful at 240W. Since we're on batteries it draws 20 Amps at 12volt through our inverter (240Vac) so any caravan or camper can easily do that.Be careful, the blades are extremely sharp. I washed the unit before use and unfortunately cut my finger quite deeply while grabbing the blade casually out of the soapy water 💦😔The bowl, lid & blade come apart easily for cleaning and puts together just as easily.I've used this mini chopper several times and it's plenty big enough for everything I've thrown in it. It chops up herbs beautifully fine 🌿 and adding the olive oil through the pouring hole is so easy and made my herb rub in ... MoreThis 3.5 cup food chopper really is the perfect size for us as a couple travelling in our caravan around Australia 💕It is very powerful at 240W. I have been using this for 3 weeks now, I mixed scone dough, made banana shake, coleslow, Bolognese, dumpling. All perfectly done. I really like this chopper, and when my son praise me for those food, I like saying ''Because I used the chpper'' to explain how clever to buy this. One thing I want to say is, it was very tricky to separate black ring parts from lid for deep cleaning. I googled and watched a kitchen aid's official instraction video, followed it and pull up straight, straggled for more than 10 minutes, but I couldn't. In the instraction video ir looks very easy, but impossible. Accidently I snap a clear plastic flip disturbing separation, then finaly it became very easy to separate those. Chopper works still fine, actually I prefer my tipped lid because ... MoreI have been using this for 3 weeks now, I mixed scone dough, made banana shake, coleslow, Bolognese, dumpling. I think kitchen aid need to improve this problem.
A year or two ago I bought a KitchenAid 9 cup food processor. It's been a god send but when I needed to work with smaller amounts to make a dip or something like a chimichurri, it struggled simply because of the size. So I waited and waited, and then finally bit the bullet and the mini food chopper. ALLELUIA! It works a treat, is super easy to assemble and use, with instructions that helped when I wasn't quite sure. The actual chopping mechanism (top of the handle) makes it very easy to get the exact consistency you need. If you're a food enthusiast and enjoy experimenting, you won't regret it. I certainly haven't.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my partner but couldn’t wait to use it - so opened it early.Since then we have used it everyday from chopping herbs and mincing meat to making sauces and marinades. The drizzle basin is amazing my salad dressings come out perfect every time. We are amazed the dressings we made 5 weeks ago have still not separated. No more shaking the dressing bottle before using. And everything goes in the dishwasher when done another small but wonderful pleasure.Thank you KitchenAid you have made healthy living easy
