I absolutely love this! Im so happy I decided to purchase the attachments for my KitchenAid stand mixer. I first purchased them from Kohls a couple years ago but decided to take it back since I never used it and it was still brand new in the box. Fast forward to couple of weeks ago. While searching on Wayfair I decided to look for the attachments again and boy am I so happy I did. I love fresh pasta. I normally buy it from the local Asian store in my area and I enjoy it each and every time. But I decided to try my hand at fresh pasta myself. Not only can I have fresh pasta at any time but it isnt hard to make. I recently purchased a bread machine from Wayfair and Im absolutely in love with it as well. I just threw all my ingredients in the breadmaker and Wallah out came my pasta dough. I let it rest for 30 minutes and then I started making my pasta. I made a shrimp and crab linguine but instead of using linguine I use spaghetti noodles because its my favorite when making this type of dish. Dont be on the fence about purchasing this I promise you you will not regret it. You control the ingredients that goes in it. And it is easy to whip this up for company. Thank you Wayfair the price was great. It was actually cheaper than when I first purchased it from Kohls. Buy these attachments you wont regret it. I promise!!

For the most part, love it. The attachments are slightly narrow, so unless you roll out the dough very precisely, it’s hard to get the correct width. Also, the spaghetti attachment is almost more like angel hair. But all in all a great purchase.

I love this set! I made lasagna noodles and fettuccine pasta so far , the lasagna I made with the fresh pasta was amazing. I’m making fettuccine Alfredo for dinner tomorrow with the fettuccine that I froze from the other day . I have made fresh pasta before but did everything by hand , the rollers and cutters make it so much easier and they’re really fun to use .

The product is well received and as described. I appreciate the quality and the design of it. It holds my KitchenAid pasta roller set really well with a detail of the brush holder. Would highly recommend this to anyone who does have a set of KitchenAid pasta roller set. 👍👍👍
First time making pasta with the attachments. To start, its a shame recipes are not included in the box. And the recipe for the basic dough was not the best. So looked online and after 2 batches, found one that was actually made by Italian Grandma...can't go wrong there! The other things that came into play was the flour, eggs and altitude. Living in Colorado the air is very dry were we live. So it took some adjustments on the water and eggs.Using the attachments were easy enough for my 15 year old daughter to figure out! We had a wonderful time making our first spaghetti! But we realized that we do need a drying rack and on some of it we did not dust with enough flour so had some groups that stuck together. But cooking it was pretty straight forward, we started with a 3-5 minute boil and taste tasted till we had what we prefer. Added a Bella mushroom ragu and it was divine.Just wish all the attachments were not so expensive. But we found the pasta attachments on sale for $70 off.Take your time, we watched a few utube videos and that helped. All in all, a wonderful experience and we are making ravioli's next!
Purchased this set a couple of weeks ago and all I can say is I wish I bought it sooner. I followed the pasta dough recipe on Bon Appétit and it was a great dough. I started by using the stand mixer. The ratio of egg to flour is one egg per 100 g. I used three eggs, 300 g of regular King Arthur flour, one tablespoon of evoo and one half teaspoon of salt. Mix the ingredients right in the stand mixer bowl and then with the dough hook attachment kneed it for 10 minutes. Rest for half hour. If the dough appears too dry add water by tsp until it comes together. I rolled it out until I reached the number five. Make sure that you flour the dough on both sides as you are rolling it. I added flour to the spaghetti attachment and made sure the pasta sheets had light flour on ... MorePurchased this set a couple of weeks ago and all I can say is I wish I bought it sooner. Came out beautiful and look forward to making ravioli next!
The product is terrific, but the pasta recipe included in the product operation manual is the pits. Not nearly enough moisture. I agree with the above review. The dough is way too firm and very difficult to feed thru the rollers. I use 5 cups flour, 2 eggs and one-half cup water, and that works just fine.
I have been a faithful KitchenAid customer for 26 years and had always had faith that even if KitchenAid were a little more expensive, it would be worth it because of the quality. I hate to say I have had my first disappointment. \n\nI purchased the KitchenAid 3 piece pasta roller and cutter set (KPRA) a few years ago (within the last five) and used it only a handful of times (no more than 5). Today I went to use it and discovered the pasta roller plastic was cracked. I couldn't believe it. I have babied this item - never submerged it in water - always cleaned it immediately after the few times I used it. \n\nI immediately googled to see if I could find a replacement part to fix it myself, but was very disheartened to learn that it can not be repaired. \n
This was a gift from my wife and I to, umm well, my wife and I. We always like trying to try and make food from scratch and this had been on the bucket list for years. But like most things we wanted kept postponing, but this Christmas we caved and bought the 3 piece Pasta Roller. Thank goodness. It has been an absolute treasure not just for my wife and I, but our kids as well. Simply and easy cleanup is done while you rest noodles after cutting. The pasta roller has not only brought better quality food into the house it is a gathering point for the family. My whole family thanks you for this attachment.
I received this for Christmas from my husband. He bought it for me because my adult children always pick homemade pasta for their family birthday celebrations dinner. For the past 25 years I have used my manual pasta maker to make the pasta for our celebrations, but it took many hours to make enough pasta to feed 12 people and my back and neck suffered for days afterwards. I was able to make enough pasta in a fraction of the time with the KitchenAid attachments and everyone said that the raviolis and linguine tasted even more delicious because the attachment got the dough thinner than I was ever able to get it with the manual pasta maker. I was able to enjoy my family celebration because I had more time and no back pain. I used the recipe that came with the ... MoreI received this for Christmas from my husband.
