I purchased this item as I have had several enamel coated Dutch ovens crack in the past (the enamel cracks). This solid cast iron Dutch oven looks like it will last forever with proper care. Perfect size for roasting a whole chicken. Turns out super juicy and delicious. Great for stews, soups, baking bread. I anticipate creating many, many delicious meals in this Dutch oven. Can be used on a campfire, the lid is designed to hold hot coals on it. Love this new addition to my kitchen!

This is really beautiful. It's smooth and heavy. It was pre-seasoned so I gave it a quick rinse and used it. (I wash everything before use.) It cooked my roast very well. Everything cooked evenly. When it's cooler outdoors, I can't wait to make a good batch of chili in it. I have a KitchenAid cookware set but it's not cast iron. With the smooth finish on this, it matches with the cookware set well. Excellent quality! It’s worth it!

I absolutely love this Dutch oven by kitchenaid! I’ve made stew, carnitas, and the creamiest Mac and cheese it’s so delicious! I like that my food comes out tasting amazing every time! It’s so easy to clean and it’s well made and durable, it’s definitely made to last! Im very impressed with how versatile this Dutch oven is you can use it on the stove top or even on the grill! I like to use the lid to weigh down my burgers when I’m grilling outside as well!

This Dutch oven is a nice update to what we’ve been using in the past. I like the whole cast iron feel because of the durability and also the look of it. Very modern and it gives off a quality touch that I believe will last for a long time. It’s pretty heavy! Make sure that you read the instructions about not using abrasive tools or cleaners on it. We love cooking carnitas, and the best way to do that is in a Dutch oven!

KitchenAid Seasoned Cast Iron Dutch Oven is perfect. I love how its ready to use out of the box. I don't need anything special for it and it cooked my food so well. My daughter also loved it she made some cinnamon rolls and they came out so soft and moist. The heat was evenly spread and the lid helps that out. I love how I can use it for the oven and on the stove. I makes soups, meat and everything comes out so soft and juicy. It washes well and I have not had to scrub it, everything comes off of the pot with ease. The 2 in 1 pot is a staple in our home for some yummy food. I have found cast iron cookware to be the best esp for camping and when the power goes out. Love how versatile it is to use in or out of the home. I did have to preseason my dutch oven as I had noticed one section got missed. It's not a big issue and it's definitely NOT hard to reseason. Once I reseasoned it, there were no issues. I love how I can use it in the oven, on the stovetop, campfire, or grill. The functionality of any cast iron cookware is unlimited. I do wish this dutch oven had a hanging handle esp when using it at campsites. I highly recommend it.
This Seasoned 6- Quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven has so many positives. I love that it is perfect for one-pot meals. Those are my favorite and it makes clean up so much easier. the lid has a dimpled interior which allows the moisture to be redistributed giving the whole meal a new level.I also love how the dutch oven can be used on the stove top or in the oven. Many of the meals I make, start by cooking on the stovetop and then finish in the oven, this one-pot can do it all!It is very well made and will last forever. I received this cast iron part with the matching top about three weeks ago and I must say I’m absolutely in love with it! I absolutely love the fact that this cast-iron Dutch pot is so multi useful. I truly love the taste of my food after I use it in the oven and how delicious the food comes out especially poultry and beef. I really do believe that the cast-iron gives it extra flavor when you do cook it in the oven as opposed to cooking it in a regular Dutch oven on the stove it is very heavy which I like as a place because this will be such a long lasting piece to the point I can give it down to my generation of kids. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a very sturdy cast-iron pot that’s gonna last you for a long time.
