Best investment i made. The attachments that came with the stand mixer was really poor quality but as the stand mixer cost so much i was reluctant to fork out more to pay for the stainless steel attachments. I finally caved in and made the investment and i am so glad I did. Love the weight of it. Making bread dough is so easy now. The machine no longer shakes when making dough. I think the weight of the stainless steel dough hook did the trick. Highly recommended

I'm very happy and relieved that KitchenAid has created 100% stainless steel 3 piece beater set. Having a good price for the set is brilliant. My old non stainless steel beaters and whisk were breaking apart on enamel side which dropped metalllic bits in the food. Also, the non metallic whisk was placed in the dishwasher by mistake and ended up being a dull colour which also put metallic deposits in the food. Until I googled that we can now buy 100% stainless steel attachments, I was going to buy another brand.

I am very pleased with these attachments. The original whisk that came with the machine kept giving off black residue. The stainless steel attachments are great. Do not have this problem. If possible I would suggest kitchenaid makes the attachments that come with the machine standard stainless steel.

Much better than the original set of beaters that come with the kitchenaid (the original set oxidises). As this is stainless steel, it cleans well and works well. I wish the machine would come with the stainless steel set instead of having to order it in addition to the original set.
Brought this about a month ago. Didn’t realise how worn out my whisk was till I compared with the new one. Love the stainless. Really good quality.
KSM5TH3PSS 3 beater set. KA should offer all customers who got the KA mixer with alumnium beaters to replace with these 3 ss beaters.The 3 alumnium beaters that come with the KSM are no good for the good name of this brand.
I had issues with the coating chipping/flaking off the beaters that came with my stand mixer, and therefore decided to purchase this SS set to replace them.I'm very glad that I did as these feel MUCH more in line with the quality you'd expect from KitchenAid. Solid, heavy, and with no chance of flaking material ending up in my bakes.
The stainless steel items an expensive but ultimately a worthy investment.The enamel coated run the risk of chipping and flaking into your food. I even notice fine mist coming off the enamel attachments when I click them into the machine. This is avoided with the stainless steel!You can also place the whisk in the dishwasher and it wont turn black and require further cleaning by hand like the wire whisk does!
These stainless steel accessories are excellent, and I am very happy with them, however they should be sold with the mixer instead of the aluminium coated ones. After buying a top quality mixer I would expect to have top quality beaters. The beater set supplied is inferior and lets the mixer down. This in my opinion should be looked into. It speaks for itself when you constantly read reviews from customers saying the coating comes off the supplied beaters.
I am just amazed that these stainless steel beaters have arrived. I have had four stand mixers and always had a bit of trouble with the whisk going out of shape (probably my fault for trying to make it beat things it was not meant for1). The other improvement is that I can put them in the dishwasher and not get that black coating.
