I was told by KitchenAid that this would definitely not fit the 600 professional model. The dimensions looked exactly first, so I took a gamble and ordered it anyways.Your experience may vary, but this perfectly fit my KP26M1X 6 quart mixer perfectly. The mixing attachments that came with my mixer left streaks in my dough and I was not ok with metal residue in my food. This flat beater is also NSF listed and dishwasher safe. I also purchased the dough hook and had the same experience.

Also fits my 6qt stainless bowl

We got this recently and love it. It and the whisk are both dishwasher safe, so cleanup is much easier. We had the Profession 600 model with the glass bowl, and the bowl got cracked. We decided to switch to a 6 qt stainless bowl, and our attachments didn't fit, so we bought new ones. We got the 'regular' flat beater (some allow with plastic on the outside) and it was fine, but the new whisk was all stainless, so we decided to try this beater, and it fits. Given the heft it will last forever.

I have had my 7 qt. KitchenAid for several years and used it ALOT, This is the second time I have had to replace my flat beater. I had trouble finding it and when I saw that you had it made of stainless steel, I knew I would have to send for it. It works great, and I am sure the paint won`t be coming off this one.Thank you---a great product. An elderly baker.

NO MORE CHIPS IN YOUR BATTER

So glad I purchased this upgrade.I didn't even realize this was available until I saw a display at Williams Sonoma. Luckily, it was in stock when I went to this website. It is heavy duty and totally stainless steel. I ran it through the dishwasher even before I used it and it is a thing of beauty! So happy. And yeah, it fits the Professiosal 600 just fine, which is what I have. I don't know what the others are talking about saying it doesn't fit.I did slightly adjust my mixer to pass the dime test, but that is no big deal. Super duper improvement!

Should be standard issue on the Pro Line 7

Both the Stainless NSF Dough hook and NSF Flat Beater should be standard issue on the Pro Line 7qt mixer like it is on it's bigger brother the 8qt Commercial mixer. You can use them with knowing that the powder coating won't chip off in your mixes. I've bought both the NSF dough hook and flat beater, for my peace of mind and worry free mixing. These are a must have to add to your mixer attachments.

Stainless Beater is Great

Our original powder coated flat blade beater for our K7 lift mixer has badly delaminated the powder coating around the upper shaft. The SS replacement solves that completely. If you use a K7 frequently, get yourself a SS Beater Blade. Super hygienic. Direct swap.

I can see that there were questions asked about whether or not this stainless flat paddle KSMC7QFB will work for a Kitchen-aid pro line series 7 qt stand mixer. I know that Everything Kitchens have stated it wont work but it does ! I ordered one after reading reviews on another website and it is exactly the same size as the coated paddle that came with the mixer. I have used it twice now and it works beautifully with my machine. I think Everything Kitchens is a wonderful company but they need to actually check these things out before saying something wont work. I hope my review helps someone else out.

WORKS WITH 6QT BOWLS !! This beater is identical in shape and size to the KN256CBT and works excellent with the KN2B6PEH stainless bowl. No worry about chipping or leaching aluminum into your batter. Just throw it into the dishwasher when your done. This beater will last FOREVER! Kitchenaid mixers are great but the company is confused like everybody else as to what fits on what model.

Wonderful Product- Finish needs Work

I purchased this beater 1 1/2 months ago from a certified Kitchenaid retailer, it took me that long to get my piece. I was so frustrated. I kept asking for help and they kept saying it will come.When it came it was SS, but not marked or finished like it shows on video.On may 12, I called Kitchenaid to ask for help, and spoke to a lovely service rep called Eunice, she was amazing. Went and checked with supervisor, and she said I would receive a new one within 7-10 days.Well guess what I got today , my new beater. Its the next business day and it came to my door, no hassles.The only down side is that the inside of the beater is not finished like a mirror like the outside.Other then that, it is perfect. I am 73 years old and i love to bake and give food to my friends and family. They love it too...But this beater really makes a difference. I have the pro 6 and the pro 7. they should come with these machines. I had ordered the SS whipping beater years ago, and when I make birthday cakes and italian meringue frosting, that's the one you need.Anyway, I want to thank Kitchenaid for standing by their products. I wish I was younger, I would want the Commercial 8 to add to my arsenal. I crave that machine. I can't thank you enough for getting this piece to me so quickly. Works fine on 6 qt mixer

I purchased this on spec after purchasing another "stainless steel" blade for my 600. The other blade turned out to be stainless steel colored coating. Made me purely disgusted. Sent it back. Someone mentioned in a posting that 7 qt attachments fit their 6 qt mixer so I tried this one. It is perfect. The outside shoulders of the beater are about 1/2" taller than my original but the overall depth and circumference are the same so it works perfectly. My cookies can't tell the difference but I can when I throw this beauty in the dishwasher without a qualm.
