This is a repurchase product for me - I bought my first set of these scrunchies over two years ago and found that the elastic has recently become too stretched out to be useful. That said, I use these daily and two years of use is pretty much what I would expect. I can’t speak to the protective quality of the silk for breakage as I am undergoing cancer treatment and the strength of my hair has been ravaged as a result, but they definitely snag less than regular scrunchies and look adorable. They make me feel a little bit more put together and effortless, which is much appreciated:)

Have to say, since using your bar shampoos and conditions and the silk scrunchies. It's been a game changer for my hair.No more irritated, itchy scalp from bottle shampoos with ingredients my scalp use to react to since in my 20's.(Thank you- finally a product that does not irritate your scalp) I'm 55 years young and I now notice less hair breakage, frizzing, with satin scrunchies. Hair doesn't break off when taking them out.Threw out all my old hair scrunchies, hair ties, shampoos, conditioners, hair brushes etc and have stocked up on your products. It's great to support a women owned company making great products to improve our hair, skin and beauty routines.Thank you.

Bought these as I heard they were less damaging for your hair than traditional hair ties. I have noticed this to be true. With normal hair ties when I take them out I find a lot of hair wrapped round them. These scrunchies I only get the odd hair now and then. I tend to only use them with certain styles like messy buns or low ponytails. I don’t feel they are tight enough for some styles which is why I only marked it 4 stars. I also use them for tying hair up when under a heating cap and for during the night.
I was advised to opt for these over traditional hair ties by my hairdresser as they are supposed to be much kinder to hair with less hair fall/hair loss as a result, especially when removing. I have to admit I have noticed drastically less hair wrapped around the scrunchie itself and removing them is a dream with absolutely no tugging, pulling or tangles. Well made and a nice variety of shades too. I use these during the day and at night and find they leave much less of a kink in my hair too though I sometimes find them to slip out if I don't tie them tightly enough. 5 stars, would definitely recommend and would definitely purchase again.
The hair ties are fantastic and don't damage hair. The rice shampoo and conditioning bars are amazing. My hair has never been so soft and shiny. It is even slowly becoming thicker. I now even have my fiancee using it for his very long, curly hair that was dry, dull, and super frizzy, and the change in his hair after only a month of use has been amazing. It is less frizzy, shiny, and soft. I've tried other brands, and they just do not compare. Worth the money to me.
Ordered these so I would spend enough for free shipping. I have used one of them for about 5 nights and the seam is already frayed. I don't think it's going to make it through the week. I bought scrunchies at Target last year for half the price and they are still in good shape. The satin is not particularly soft, feels like the sort of satin an H&M shirt would be made of. Buying these is better than paying for shipping, but that's about the only reason to purchase them. I'd recommend getting the hair clips instead if you're in that situation. Love their shampoo and conditioner though! Also good experience with the hair towel.
I have medium thick hair and need at LEAST four of these satin elastics (practically the whole pack) to secure my hair at night in two simple braids. The elastic inside is tied in a knot and is not the same size & stretch as a traditional elastic, so the elastic can't pull tight enough to secure the satin around my hair.The quality of these scrunchies are good- but I haven't found my holy grail in yet in terms of function.I have a sewing machine and elastic, so I bought these only because I didn't want to go through the process of making several of these myself.In the future, I'll probably purchase good, strong hair elastics as a base and make my own.
Very comfortable! 4 Stars vs. 5 stars only because of the cost. Beautiful & classy print on the shower cap while being durable and waterproof. This was exactly what I was looking for to keep my hair dry between washes. I may buy others in the future if I find another print I like! The cap is comfortable to wear and covers well- just follow the instructions on how to wrap your hair prior to putting it on- make sure you do your pun at the nape of your neck instead of on top of your head and completely cover your hair and roots all the way around. It doesn't pull my hair, or leave marks on my skin where it sits. I would recommend!, just really wish it cost less so getting a second cap or even a third wasn't so cost prohibitive!
I've purchased several different silk and satin scrunchies to sleep in at night, because it's much better for your hair than regular hair ties. This is by far my favorite! It has the feel of a pillow, pretty material and is very poofy. May be too big for short hair. I have long thin hair and it's perfect! Purchasing my second set now to have a back-up just in case, because every time I find something I love it seems to be discontinued.
