I work on security and fire alarm systems for a living and this is hands down my go to tool for working with a variety of systems. It's a perfect fit for nearly all security and fire systems my company works with, and with the long and short sides to the inner shaft you can use it just about anywhere you can fit your hand. The pocket protecting outer shaft and pocket clip make this leagues ahead of any other competing driver. This driver is also competent in many other use cases anywhere from small electronics to eyeglasses aswell, making it the ultimate pocket screwdriver.

I agree with the other reviews....should have read them before purchasing...the whole slide the handle up so you can put it in your pocket thing is worthless. I keep my tools in a pouch when I carry them....who doesnt? So....exactly what everyone else said....if you try to torque anything beyond just barely tight the sliding sleeve spins. Not sure who this tool is right for but if you work on equipment in any kind of professional capacity that has small screw terminals you are going to find yourself disappointed in this driver. Love Klein....I dont love this tool.

I purchased this for the new style and ability to make shorter or longer. I have been using this for the last few weeks. I like the design however the bit failed me under pressure. When trying to put some force on the bit the internal stop between bits slipped through pushing the inside bit loose and the outside bit into the sleeve. I had to remove the chuck, push the inside bit back into place which made the outside bit also push back out. I thought maybe it was a fluke but the next time with a small push it again pushed inside of the sleeve. If this was fixed it would be 5 star worthy as I use these daily.and was looking for a new daily tool.

I really like Klien tools but this one it total trash. I bought one and within a week I lost the slotted bit and couldn't figure out why. So I bought another screwdriver and boom the same but is gone. I clip them my shirt with the bit on the inside. There should be no reason for the bits to come out of their holders as the magnet seems to be strong enought to hold them in place. But it not working. I wouldn't recommend this particular Klien tool to anyone. Go another route on this believe. Klien should have to replace these bits if not the whole screwdriver. This is the only Klien tool that has not lived up to their high standards.
I bout this a couple weeks ago and carry it everywhere. The sliding mechanism covers the point of the driver so it will not wear a hole in your pocket or stab you in the chest or leg while carrying. It is easy to use and works great on small Molex type connectors and DIN rail electrical components. Also the shaft length can be set long or short to get into precarious locations.
I love this little thing. Clips to your vest pocket and the grip slides up to cover the bits so they don't wear a hole in the pocket! Two Phillips sizes and two flathead, plus if you flip the whole driver shaft around it adds length to the tool for harder to reach spots. The only reason I knocked off a star is that the smaller flathead bit chipped so I think the bits should be made of stronger stuff, especially when they're that tiny.
Bought this for my new controls engineering position. Alot of times we get pulled to look at something when we aren't prepared with a full tool bag. With going to many panels of varying age, you never know what you are going to encounter. Havinf this screwdriver in my pocket, having multiple bits and not getting poked, allows me to be ready for anything at any given time. Love this thing!
This is a good product. Its has up and downs though. It has the clip on it for your pocket but the slip sleeve for the screwdriver spins while you are trying to tighten screws. You cant really put a lot or torque on anything you are tightening down without having to put you hand in a awkward position. The smaller your hands the easier it is. It is very well built though and has a lot of positives. I get why they made the yellow sleeve to be able to slide down for when you arent using it but as far as me; I do not care for it at all. I just put Gorilla Glue Super Glue on my sleeve that way it doesnt move any and I can still put it in my pocket. I think Klein Tools should put a removable cap on the end for it instead of a sliding sleeve.
When I receive this thing in the mail, I loved everything about it and it was on my way to replacing my greeny and bluey as my go-to precision driver. The concealable tip is a lifechanging feature for me since it means I can carry the tool in my pocket without poking holes in my my pants or stabbing myself in the leg or thigh if I sit down and it's oriented the wrong way. Great design.... However, the tips need to be made more durable. After some light duty use over a two week period, I found the the larger flat head became warped into a spiral shape. It's still kinda usable, but now slips almost every time. I expected better from Klein and really hope they improve this flaw in future iterations of this tool.
I multi-craft as an Instrument Tech and a Electrical Tech, so these small electronics screwdrivers come in handy in both fields, whether I'm working on a valve positioner, setting the pots or setting up a VFD and setting those electronics. I see how they have the 11-in=1, but the 4-in-1 was good enough for me, if the job gets any more precision and requires a special bit, I probably got it in my 106 pc special bit kit, but most pots are the small straight slot on the Klein 4-in-1. Another thing about the Klein 4-in-1 is the ultra comfy cushion grip, you wouldn't appreciate a cushion grip until your out on your tools all day for 12 hrs nonstop, most people wouldn't understand, but I'm one of the few who can appreciate a cushioned grip on a screwdriver. Turn about 150 screws straight in a row, I know your saying, "Use a drill", but sometimes you just can't get a drill in these small spaces and you have to land 150 pairs of wires to land, now what? Klein tools are built to take a punishment, the only time I've ever had to replace a Klein tool is if it was stolen, I lost it, the blade got ruined, or normal wear and tear took it out. But, man, I love my Klein, "Tweeker" 4-in-1 screwdriver, it's my go to loop calibrator screwdriver, valve positioner screwdriver, pot adjustment screwdriver, I to P adjustment screwdriver, and on and on and on.....
