Had to wire my new outbuilding and this screwdriver was very useful! The wire bending stud worked great for making the right side bend in the wire to attach to the receptacles and switches. The blade tip is very sturdy and fit the screws on the sides of the devices perfectly with no slippage when cranking them down snugly. Would buy again for sure.

I am a homeowner and a DIYer, and I am kicking myself for not having made this $9 investment sooner. This screwdriver is AWESOME, and it makes me happy every time I use it -- which is a lot. :) The precision-machined tip is clutch here -- the fit you get in a Philips head screw with this screwdriver is 100x more precise and more secure than the fit you get with most other screwdrivers, including those from very well-respected brand names. You can feel the difference as soon as you insert the screwdriver into the screw, and the frequency of camming out or stripping screws will drop dramatically. I have long hated Philips head screws. I still don't love them, but I no longer dread them (which is good because they are everywhere!), because this screwdriver has made ... MoreI am a homeowner and a DIYer, and I am kicking myself for not having made this $9 investment sooner. I do a lot with screws as I avoid nailing when possible. Phillips screws are the most widely used so my #2 Phillips screwdriver gets a lot of use. I purchased this Klein #2 4 screwdriver to replace my Stanley Jobmaster that Ive had for probably thirty years, I took a picture and submitted it showing/comparing the two brands. Amazingly they look and feel almost identical. The Stanley shank is slightly thicker, but Im hoping the Klein, for $9.50 will last as long and will be well worth the price. Ive only used it a few times and it is very good, no camming out as it fits perfectly.

I recently bought a tv stand and upon attempting to put it together was faced with the deepest frustration. I could not get the screws in with my phillipis. I really thought it was going to require a powered one. My husband informed me it was just an old and bad screwdriver. So I searched and decided to try this old. Holy crap!!! The screws suddenly went in with little effort at all. I dont know what kind of voodoo magic it is but Im beyond impressed. The tv stand was done in 20 minutes. This thing is just magical. Thats all.
I work on guns as a hobby. One of the big things I do is marry two passions I have - gunsmithing and woodworking. Refinishing stocks is a great hobby and can be really relaxing. That is, until you realize that your honkin' huge screwdriver from your tool set (you know, the one you yanked out of the automotive tool box in the garage?) isn't long enough to even TOUCH the flat-head screw holding a stock on. That's when you break this beast out. There is so much length to this thing, that the screw I was trying to remove was engaged with another full six plus inches of shaft sticking out! Now that's a screwdriver! Works well, very positive grip on the handle and the shaft does not flex easily. Overall, highly recommended.
The only problem I have is trying to figure out where to stick it in pouch w/o scratching my legs up. This is one big ol screw driver folks. I'm sure the product description is correct, not that I looked. This bad boy is 12" of exposed shaft. Actually 17 & 1/2 inches total. The shaft going all the way through the handle as it should be. Pics provided accurate. I'm sure I'll bend it or snap it eventually, but I'm also sure that's not the makers fault. Quality, thanks.
These are comfortable to hold, strong, and have excellent tips for gripping the screw. I got tired of inferiors screwdrivers (esp phillips head) that just get chewed up at the tip. I went and looked more online for brands that professionals rated as best and this brand kept coming up in mentions as well liked. Now I see why. Ive purchased these now in many sizes and have been throwing out my older, poorly made or machined screwdrivers. Really happy with these.
This is now my favorite screwdriver. The tip grabs #2 screws better than any other screwdriver I've owned. I have been able to easily remove (and re-insert) screws that I secured with a power screwdriver last year. The handle coating and texture feels great, providing both excellent grip and comfort. I have large hands and the grip feels excellent. Edit: Almost 2 years later, this is still my favorite #2 screwdriver and still functions and looks great. The black coating on just the tip is starting to wear off already, but the metal looks fine. I plan to buy more Klein screwdrivers now.
This is the right tool for removing anything that is in hard-to-reach places with narrow walls, such as a carburetor jets. Jet's are often screwed into the center or a long tube and recessed well into the tube, so a regular screwdriver with the flared sides will not fit. Jets are soft brass and easy to mangle if you try to get them out with a screwdriver that is too small. So this is perfect. It has the actual turning edge that is the correct size but without the flared sides, so the screwdriver is just the right tool to get down into the center of a pickup tube and unscrew jets on smaller carburetors. I would get a larger one for bigger carbs. But for your average motorcycle carb, this one is just right.
Yeah, it's a screwdriver, big deal. Oh. no, it's a precision tool. There is a difference, let me explain. I've used all sorts of screwdrivers made by all sorts of companies, and I have never used anything as precise as these Klein tools. The tips fit differently, the tip finish allows the screwdriver to bite and stay secure, no wiggle, no wobble, no jumping out of the screw head. And the rubber cushioned handle is a joy to hold. A simple task such as removing a Phillips head screw from an electronic case was just made comfortable. There was no need to try and push or hold the screwdriver at just the right angle or place, it just felt so precise and easy. Why I didn't buy Klein tools before is a mystery but now that I have, they are the only tools I'll use on any ... MoreYeah, it's a screwdriver, big deal. Oh. no, it's a precision tool.
