Overall I'm happy with these Klipsch speakers. Bought them with a Denon DRA-800H receiver and a Klipsch 10" subwoofer. I find them a little weak in mid-range frequencies (surprising). Glad I added the subwoofer (I follow the baseline pretty closely).Construction is solid as would be expected. Looks are pretty standard. Packing was more than adequate.World Wide Stereo advising and customer service were excellent. Easy to deal with (including return of a CD player I swapped for a different unit). Delivery in 2 days. Of the many distributors I spoke with World Wide was the only one to have the Denon in stock.Overall I'm satisfied and rate the speakers at 4 stars. Though these are beautiful and well made speakers, I sometimes wish I didnt have to look at them because from the sound alone I can imagine they are much bigger speakers than they actually are. I wanted to wait until they were broken in a little before reviewing them. I noticed that process happening this week. I have it paired with a Bel Canto class D 60-watt amp and the first words that come to mind are lush and lively. Im completely in love (or at least infatuated) right now. I want to sit and listen to every kind of music for hours. These speakers are great for Jazz and dynamic pieces of music. The sonic energy produced by these speakers fills my room/basement and explodes beyond its enclosures. I picked up a pair for $429.00 fearing that they would not last at that price especially with the Holidays approaching.

Played Chicago (Greatest Hits) and Bob Seger's Night Moves. Temperature hit 50 degrees so I set up outside in the backyard. With speakers on stools about 2 feet from the brick wall I experimented with various sound levels. The speakers will handle plenty of power but I preferred the sound at lower volume. The tweeters are exceptional. The highs are out front at low volume and the vocals are crisp and clean. I closed my eyes and the sound seems to be coming from a much larger source. The bass is impressive especially for a bookshelf speaker. Klipsch RP-600M speakers are a super value at this price!

The purchase of these speakers made me a first time Klipsch customer, as I went out to replace a pair of Paradigm bookshelf speakers that had twice had their woofers blown out. I also previously owned a pair of B&W 805 bookshelf speakers costing 4X as much as these Klipsch RP-600M speakers. I bring up the Paradigm and B&W speakers to be able to make comparisons with the RP-600M speakers. The RP-600M speakers are serving the role of main speakers in a home theater with a Monitor audio center channel speaker and Cambridge Soundworks surround speakers. I was truly unprepared when I connected the new RP-600M speakers to my Yamaha receiver and had my first listen. I was truly unprepared when I connected the new RP-600M speakers to my Yamaha receiver and had my first listen. What caught me off guard was just how full the sound was, with a new rich deep bass emerging from these speakers that I've never heard in my other bookshelf speakers mentioned above. The RP-600M speakers, simply stated, sound like floor standing speakers, and are able to easily fill my large listening room with clean, full range sound. I have, until now, not enjoyed just sitting and listening to two-channel stereo music through the Paradigm speakers, like I used to enjoy with the B&W 805 speakers. With the Klipsch speakers I am excited to listen to music again, and find myself doing that frequently now (daily if I can). While I am, in my heart, first and foremost a lover of alternative rock, I also throughougly enjoy other genres, and have exposed the Klipsch speakers to a variety of songs from Diana Krall, Post Malone, George Michael, the Fairfield Four, Adele, Andrea Bocelli, Fleetwood Mac, K.D. Lang, Katy Perry, Marc Anthony, Pentatonix, and numerous other artists that I also enjoy. The Klipsch speakers welcome these various musical styles with open arms and breath life into them all. The sound is so clean and clear that I have to hold myself back from opening up the volume to the ridiculous levels these speakers are capable of handling so that I don't upset my family, however when the family is out of the house, I don't hold back at all. I recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a bookshelf speaker, affordably priced, that wants both a good home theater speaker, but is also looking for a home audio speaker that they can really enjoy. I forgot to mention...they also happen to be beautiful to look at with the spun copper woofer. The magnetically attached speaker covers are easily removed so that you can quickly expose the drivers.

Great Speaker
19 July 2022

These were a replacement for a pair of ELAC 6.2 bookshelf speakers. Primarily used with a Windows based computer streaming music through an integrated tube hybrid amplifier with an external Schiit Audio DAC and Schiit Audio Equalizer. The amp is supplying 50W continuous. The sound difference between the two speaker systems is remarkable. The presence of the Klipsch is astounding and the transient response remarkable. While the ELAC has a subdued presence and lackluster quality, the Klipsch shine with orchestra playing classical music (I thought the horn loading would be too shrill...not the situation), female voice, and jazz presentations with distinct instrument highlighting. The fit and finish of the speaker is perfect...I liked the idea that the bottom has a cork ... MoreThese were a replacement for a pair of ELAC 6.2 bookshelf speakers. The fit and finish of the speaker is perfect...I liked the idea that the bottom has a cork material secured...no need to paste on buttons of shock material to isolate the speaker. The grill is magnetic...so much easier to remove and replace than the ELAC speaker grill. The connectors on the back are quite substantial--use the BNC/Banana jack connectors for your speaker wire because the cables allowing for BiWire/spade connection make it awkward to secure your speaker wire if you try to thread it through the hole behind the knurled knob and have the spade connection in back of your speaker connection...much more secure using the BNC plug. I based my purchase on the Audiophiliac review and several other reviews on YouTube...this speaker is a definite upgrade from the previous RP-600M original model...as pointed out by the reviewers. I have several speaker systems in other rooms; however, these speakers have really captured my enthusiasm for streaming music listening.

I have a 125 W PC amplifier which obviously has plenty of power to drive these speakers; which in every review I have ever read about them (as well as the specs provided by Klipsch) claimed that they are highly efficient I have not found that to be the case. Their performance at low volume levels is underwhelming; however, and this is a big however, when you turn it up wow! I can push them beyond what I ever could have imagined and they just keep asking for more. They are an amazing speaker for the money for those that like to rock out.! In summary, an amazing sounding speaker when you put some power behind them. I am just happy I kept my Jamo concert series towers for those times that Im in a more mellow, jazzy mood.

I'm starting to replace my 15-year old 5.1 Polk satellite system and decided to start with these for my L/R mains because of the reputation of Klipsch (and just because I like the looks of the copper/ceramic woofers). They were also on sale for 40% off :)They're the first speakers I ever had with dual binding posts and I put them to use on my (also new) Denon X4700H receiver, which I will probably also review at some point. Bi-amping the Klipsch speakers using the extra height channel terminals I currently can't utilize, in combination with the Pure Direct mode on the Denon, I really kind-of don't miss my subwoofer...the bass is nice and tight and streaming music or playing a CD or vinyl LP is a treat - my favorites are jazz and classical. I am a vintage 1977 heresy owner. I was skeptical of the RP until I kept seeing stellar reviews. I use them as the rears in a 7.1 system. The Heresys are the fronts. Overall all, they are great match. I was not expecting the mids to be as smooth which is really important to me and what those vintage Klipsch shine at. Not disappointed. I expected the high to be out front and they were. Probably a little on the brash side but with some placement adjustment that tamed then. Then theres the bass. Didnt see that coming. The rear ported RPs have a solid, well defined bass that more than keeps up with the 12 inch woofers at the front. I stood behind them and those ports push a lot of thump out the back for those little speakers without sounding like an overpriced boom box ... MoreI am a vintage 1977 heresy owner. Works Great with My Computer
30 July 2019

I'm using my Klipsch 600M hooked up to a 200W external preamplifier(bi-polar wire connections) which is then hooked up to my 24k bit DAC external sound blaster box which is hooked up to my computer's 3.0 USB port. My computer's mother board is a ASUS Z390 that has an Intel 9900 microprocessor and 64GB of memory. When I crank-up the volume- outstanding sound performance - watch a movie or just playing a game - great sound quality !!! You really have to buy these speakers - I bought these speaker as an "open box" - I paid $439.00 - cosmetics on my speaker were excellent - no scratches or smudge marks- just like brand new. Originally these speakers go for $550.00 brand new. The 600M models are known as Book Shelf speakers. I'm really happy with these speakers are on my computer system - totally awesome!!! I strongly recommend you get these speakers. Even checkout the You Tube clips on these speakers. Klipisch wasn't kidding when they stated about their speakers - " Keeper of the Sounds" . (Sorry no pictures).

Blair was the salesmen who helped me find these. I could not recommend him and these speakers enough! He seen what I was interested in and ran me through some options, and although he could have sold me other speakers, he knew kept in mind I really liked Klipsch and made me fall in love with these amazing shelf speakers. He hooked me up with a great amp for cheap. I later paired it with a used Equalizer and these speakers bark and sound amazing!
