Well I'll give Germany this they really know how to make fantastic tools and equipment. I can't praise them enough.
Knipex makes excellent pliers, period. I've never been disappointed with any of them yet. These comfort grips also are particularly nice for applying additional pressure on thicker wire, or a tighter grip on your workpiece. They open and close smoothly and easily, negating the need to loosen a new pair up with valve grinding compound like I've had to do with a number of Wiha and Klein pliers. These should last for a lifetime of hard use and make any job easier. Good tools are worth their price.
I 've been using various knipex products for years now as my preferred brand . Superior quality ,great range ,always had good results from there use .Will be adding more in the future .highly recommended .
I have had a good experience with Knipex pliers in general. These soft grips are thicker and more substantial than the typical vinyl grips on the Knipex Pliers Wrench, Alligators or Diagonal Cutters. I bought these because of good reviews on Youtube and because my other made in Taiwan pliers were ok but seemed to wear in quickly after working with a run of 12 AWG metal covered wire for garage shop lights. I expect the chrome plating on these will slow down the appearance of rust and increase the life of the cutting edges.
Was excited for my first pair of Knipex pliers, but disappointed at the stiffness of the hinge. Need to be pulled/pushed open and haven’t seemed to be loosening.

Without any doubt, KNIPEX is the #1 brand when it comes to pliers - they also invented the plier a few hundred years ago. The precision offered by this little thing is unmatched, also it's smooth and gives you confidence in squeezing it. All my pliers are KNIPEX. I wanted this one because it's smaller and it's easy to have on you most of the time. I do have the 8' version as well and I knew what I'm getting. The price it comes with, is incredible too.
