These are the best pliers out there. It's like having a pipe wrench in your pocket. I used and abused my last pair and they worked just as good the day I lost them as they did when I bought them. Also for $25 their inexpensive to replace when lost. Definitely worth it!

I am forevermore a devoted Knipex fan. This thing griped and removed a broken screw with virtually no head showing. Saved me a great deal of time and frustration on that single job. Their precision wire cutters and side-cutters are just as good. I dont think they know how to make a bad product.

I put these in my plumbing bag, the quality of metal allows Knipex to use much lighter castings, the jaw opening allows me to securely grip three inch pipe, and the hinge design and teeth quality allow me to get a solid grip with almost no hand strength. I was able to preplace several different wrenches and take close to 10lbs out of my plumbing bag. I would happily buy these again. Knipex are pricy, but they consistently become my go-to tool when I add one into my job bag.

Knipex are professional tools, these pliers will lock down on objects with hardly any effort or force applied to them. They also fit in tights space and between tight connections. Definitely a must have in my tool bag.Master Plumber here 17 years experience.
Love these things. As a plumber, these are so much better than the common blue brand. They bite on well to any shape; hex, round, square, flat, etc. The tooth design also grips and bites in, so you can put your strength into turning the item, rather than needing to squeeze so the jaws don't slip. These jaws don't slip, even on a round workpiece. Knipex also makes the cobra pliers that are basically the same, but I prefer these because they are quicker to adjust.
Primary use is for black gas pipe for HVAC Furnaces. I used to bang my knuckles EVERY time I would do some piping due to slipping teeth but with these bad boys right here I have yet to slip of anything I grasp on to with these pliers! The teeth and the shape of the jaws are just a perfect design for gripping round or flat edges with ease. My Knuckles Thank You Knipex!
These pliers are incredible. They are lightweight, strong and grip like a pipe wrench. Once they bite, you do not need to squeeze the handle to keep them engaged. Their thin head design allows access where normal arc joint pliers won’t go. Knipex makes a quality product, and this is no exception.
These pliers are quickly taking the place of other pliers and wrenches in my tool bag. I have used them more and more since I got them. These pliers have held up to everything I have thrown at them. When you pick them up you can feel the quality. You can get get less expensive pliers and still get your jobs done but if you have a little extra in your budget you will be very happy with these.. I can only speak for myself but I wish I would have got these earlier.
Purchased these pliers in 2022 in store and only got to use them once. I was trying to take apart 3/4" black steel fittings and the head of the Knipex pliers snapped clean off making them un-usable. Reached out to Knipex for a replacement and they want me to pay for shipping to send them out.
