Been doing plumbing and heating for 6 years and have about 12 different pairs of channelocks of all sorts of brands and they all suck. They all slipe and slide in pipe. Started working with someone who has had the same knipex pliers for 10+ years and they still grip like a pipe wrench. These pliers are the best in the biz and I'll only be buying these in the future. They compete with pipe wrenches for sure.

These are great pliers, but if I would purchase again I would spend the extra $ on the cobra version with the push button.

A great practical tool. I work mainly with cable cross-sections 0.5 - 1.5 mm
