Knipex plier wrenches are AWESOME! They are much better than a crescent wrench at the same job. A bit pricey as one might expect for a German made product, but very much worth it.
Best crescent wrench replacement. Always holds tight grip on nuts. Super fast to work with. I work with paint and paint pumps and spray lines. These are where these are superior to crescent design. Would definitely recommend.
As with all Knipex products, well built tools!
I read so many good reviews about this product and I was a little skeptical about it. However, it changed my mind once I used them. The product quality, ease of use, great engineering and craftsmanship to great detail set this tool to another level. I used them for various of things: from fixing my cars, boat, kayak, bicycles, to plumbing at home. With this set, I let go many of my old wrenches and fliers. I've never owned any high-end set like this before, but it's worth every dollar I put in. This product will surely last me a life time.
Several "tool of the year" awards by independent publications, which for "pliers" is saying quite a bit. Are they better than the common "water pump pliers". If you need something to grasp and not mar a square or hex someting then yes absolutely the better tool for the job.
