This review comes after nearly a full year using this product as both a couch and a bed.The couch itself is on the firmer side, but it's still quite comfortable and if you have pillows you can absolutely fall asleep laying down. We love the big arms to be able to put a coaster on and rest beverages on.The bed was also (for us) on the firmer side, so we required a mattress topper. Koala was incredibly helpful in this! They provided the mattress topper for free, and if you find the sofa bed on the softer side and need a firmer mattress topper - that is an option as well.Without the topper, you can comfortably spend some nights on the bed. We needed a sofa bed at short notice, so that we could do a COVID isolation shuffle, and Koala did not disappoint. As per our previous orders, it was delivered at lightning speed.The sofa bed itself matched the description and was relatively easy to assemble (strong person recommended). We just added floor protectors.The sofa is nice and comfortable and my son really enjoyed sleeping on it. Basically, it’s like having a mattress on the floor. Except you don’t need to worry about where you’re going to store it. It fits one person very comfortably, two would be pretty cosy / tight.It’s sitting in our third bedroom, which we primarily use as a study. It is perfect for us because a spare room would be redundant. This way, the use of the room is more flexible.

I love my Koala Sofa Bed! We chose this design because of the large arms. They are about 25cm each; our cats liked to gargoyle on our old sofa's arms so when we saw that feature we had to have it! She was easy to put together and is very comfy. The cats got a huge tunnel from the box the cushion came in so that was a nice bonus lol The back of the sofa is also wide enough for them to run on which has lead to some funny antics. And even though they do scratch at it, the weave doesn't come out as much as other sofas I've seen. I am so thrilled with this sofa!
It was really easy to assemble, however, the white plastic connector for the 2 base pieces is in the cushion box, not the base box. Our Koala Sofa Bed is fantastic. It looks great and is the perfect fit in the area we have it. Assembly was easy and quick; ordering was simple and delivery communicated well. We've used it as a bed for the last 3 weeks with a full house and it is super comfy and easy to pull out and put back as a couch. The perfect solution when needing an extra bed that doubles as seating. The colour is lighter than expected - but a great fresh look. We love it.
I love my Koala sofa bed for many reasons. It arrived quickly; it was super easy to assemble; it folds out effortlessly to a queen bed and has come with a comfy topper included; I also love the social & environmentally friendly ethos and consciousness of the company. I even love the colour. The only reason why I gave it 4-stars is because the fabric seems to not have much elasticity, therefore it does not maintain a smooth look after sitting in a spot. It is also a bit firm, which I don't mind so much as I feel supported. Most of all I love the indigenous print pillows which are a great accentuation to the couch presentation.
Pretty awesome sofa bed.The best I’ve ever slept on for sure.We have it set up in our guest room and had family sleep on it before we did, they all said it was super comfortable and not like other sofa beds/lounges with uncomfortable spring’s everywhere.I do recommend getting a mattress topper to sleep on as well.The lounge itself is a little hard when sitting on, but definitely something I am getting used to.I love it, pretty good investment if you ask me and I 100% recommend this to anyone thinking about buying one.
