I am an amateur photographer, so wanted a camera that would provide me better shooting opportunities than a cell phone camera. I am also price conscious until I have the skills to use a more full-featured camera. I feel this is a good camera for that.One note, the Lowepro Adventura CS 20 Camera Pouch that is listed as a recommended accessory for this camera will not fit it, and likely neither will most camera pouches for point and shoot cameras. This bridge camera is too large, and will likely need a shoulder bag. I will update this review with photos when I have a bag that i can carry the camera safely in.

I have a manuel camera also, but this camera is very unique with it very powerful zoom lense and many other features and manuel shooting ability which you would usually find on a much more expensive camera.
