This is definitely worth the money. If you've ever used a digital camera before, you'll find this is very easy to use. You don't really need instructions. The quality of the camera and the pictures it takes are excellent. I took a regular wide-angle picture, then one with the mechanical zoom all the way zoomed-in, and finally one with that plus the optical zoom all the way zoomed-in. It's amazing how well that works. I included pics of this. I used the lowest resolution, called Email Resolution, so of course the resolution can be much much better if you choose.This is the perfect camera to do all the basic things you would want from a camera, plus it has a mechanical zoom. That's something your cellphone camera does not have. It's a great extra feature to have.

I've been using the camera for a couple of weeks now and am loving it! I do have some gripes - mainly the autofocus system can be sluggish and sometimes may have trouble focusing. Also, I do wish the screen and viewfinder had a higher resolution. Other than that, I'm loving the results. Giving this as a gift. I took a few pictures with the camera and I thought they looked great. Accompanied with a nice bundle of accessories. Would have liked a better tripod and maybe a neck strap instead of the included wrist strap considering the age range of the intended users but still a good value and a nice little camera. This would be a great gift for kids, grandma or drag racers. Covers a lot of ground and 4X is plenty. Also uses normal batteries-easy to come by at remote stores or tracks. The only thing is that the directions need to change the order of start-up. Instead of inserting the 2 AA batteries and then the card, insert the memory card first and then the batteries as you need to push the card down to lock it and the batteries get in the way. Camera nice, directions shows someone wrote it without trying it. I really like this little camera. I've had a little Fuji for years and it's not taking great pics anymore so I thought I would try this little guy. I had a Kodak camera for years - my first digital camera - and I liked it alot. This camera is smaller than my Fuji so it's great for carrying around and it's quite easy to use. I haven't needed to refer to the instructions I just figured everything out by pressing the 2 or 3 buttons on it. It takes great pictures and comes with a USB cable to upload to a computer if desired. It does NOT come with a memory card, so I just took the one out of my Fuji. I wish it had a better zoom, but I have a bigger, bulkier Nikon with a 40X zoom as a back-up. All in all, I think for general use, this camera will fit the bill

I bought this for my seven year old daughter who loves to take photos using my phone and creates videos often. The quality of the photographs is wonderful and it is a very easy camera to use. She's pretty good at taking photos so I wanted something that would be good quality. It's a sturdy little camera with a wrist strap to keep it safe. I bought a charger and rechargeable batteries as it does use batteries quickly. Very happy with my purchase and it came quickly.

nice little compact camera, feels good in hand. wish they'd come back with the 'peep hole!'...anyway, I'm glad I got the 2pk flash card at same time of camera purchase. It is the only way I'm able to get my pictures to the computer. Kodak site brags about their EasyShare software and how you need to download it free to be able to use the cable that comes with the camera in order to get the pictures off the camera and onto the computer. Well, not any of the sites work to download this free wonder...frustrated. Should be very easy to use the included cable and just send to computer to edit and view your pictures. Doesn't work that way. that's where the usb flash card comes in handy, but still would like to have the pictures in My Photos on my computer...
