This kettle is fine and everything it was expected to be. I had another style Smarter Home kettle previously (glass) and preferred it because it was easy to see the water level and it gave a constant read of the temperature of the water in the kettle. It is tricky to see the water level in this kettle.

This smart kettle with wifi is great quality and looks great and is a fraction of the price of the similar Breville kettle without the wifi connection feature. I love being able to start the kettle or keep the warming temp to my preference via the Google home app on my mobile. It boils very rapidly and I can select various temperatures based on what tea or coffee I am having eg Green tea at 80 degrees or instant coffee at 95 degrees which are the correct recommended temperatures. It looks great and has the buttons across the front for various things and warm up also. Setting up the wifi connection was a breeze also.

Great replacement for my old non smart kettle. Can switch it on using the phone app or have it set to turn on automatically at specific times of the day. With its keep warm function, I can have hot water for my coffee before I even wake up, or when I come home from my morning walk.Easy to set up and connect with local network, would highly recommend
This kettle is awesome. Having owned the previous glass Kogan smart kettle this is an amazing upgrade. Better base, no leaks, better pouring spout and lid release that isn’t a pain. The Amazon connectivity is a breeze to set up and use and the kettle is also reasonably quiet in operation. Highly recommend if you are in the market for a new kettle because the quality is that you’d expect in something much more expensive.
I own the previous model too. This model has a better pouring spout and temperature selection. The WiFi works great and is fun to use. I am happy that I've bought this one as well.
Bought this unit to replace previous Kogan smart Kettle.Compared to previous one...Pros.. better looking,doesn't expell water from top when boiling a full kettle.Cons. much noisier when boiling,If WiFi drops out, doesn't automatically reconnect like the previous one. (You have to physically hold down a button on kettle for 3 secs, tore-establish a connection)
This is the second Kogan smart kettle we have owned. They are truly the most amazing kettles. So easy to connect to your phone and wifi and being able to turn it on in the morning from bed is the best thing ever!
My original Kogan wifi kettle started leaking a while ago but I kept using it because I couldn’t find another wifi kettle. The wifi ability sounds like it’s a gimmick but it really isn’t; it’s fantastic. I can wake up in the morning and put the kettle on from my bed. I can set a schedule so it’s boiled as my alarm goes off so I can have a coffee the second I wake up. This second version isn’t as good as the first though. The first one was glass and looked more stylish. It also had a touch panel and display in the handle so you could see at anytime what the temp is. This version is metal and ok looking but has a base plate alot bigger. It has a big blue light on it to tell you if it’s connected to wifi. That last feature is so stupid. This kettle is such a nightmare to sync with the WIFI, I have given up. Sometimes it works, and then for no apparent reason the connection is lost and then has to be resync'd. But now, after countless hours of trying to sync it, over the last year, I give up. I'll just get up and go turn the stupid thing on by hand. Waste of money
