But to my surprise this little thing is an amazing vacuum! I use to clean both myHot tub and my 12x12 pool and it picks everything up! It works better then my catfish vacuum that just broke ( reason I bought this one)! The suction is outstanding! The people reviewing saying it sucks must not be using it correctly! U have to go slow it’s not like a house vacuum! The only 2 complaints I have is 1. In the meantime, I picked up this vacuum because it was on sale at Rural King for $40, it had a 90 day guarantee return policy and thought I could use this until it dies too, I figured it would die before the 90 days (fingers crossed, it hasn't). It's been 1 month and it is still going strong. It's lightweight and easy to use. I also include a stocking and place it into the filter net to catch smaller dirt and sand. It doesn't 100% vacuum the dirt and sand, which is why I'm giving it a 4 and not a 5. I have an easy up Summerwaves pool 15'x36" so the pump is very weak. I'm not going sweat the small stuff and just be happy the bugs and other yucky stuff are vacuumed out. **I did have some issues with algae this week, the vacuum picked a lot of it up. I used a chemical and it was all gone in a day. Oh, and I'm still waiting for Pool Plaster Catfish to work with me for my return.

I love this vacuum it wasn't too expensive and it works great. I would recommend this one for above ground any size . Our pool was really dirty and it stayed charged and worked great . Very happy.
