My dogs love this toy, whether it be in the water, or just playing 'tug'. They love it. Sadly, when OTHER dogs who like to chew get it, they start gnawing at the rope, which does fray quite easily. So, that's why I've bought a couple. One to have at home, for non-gnawing dogs and 2 to take to the park, so it doesn't matter if the rope gets chewed.

My dog is not a power chewer. In fact still just a lab puppy. I threw it for him about 6 times into the lake and he laid down with it for about 15 minutes. When I got up to throw it again all that was left was a pile of orange chunks of rubber, a shredded cheaper than cheap flimsy poorly woven plastic piece of rope, a tiny piece of grey foam rubber and a metal ring. This toy for 25 dollars is garbage. Its cheap, flimsy and nothing like the Kong toys of the past. Save your money and get a nice stick. A stick will FAR outlast this piece of garbage toy made by kong.

We got this by mistake... Returned it to store and re ordered in store the medium size, now received. This is the 4th Aqua Kong in 5 years. 1st one was lost 2nd got stolen and chewed by a staffie playmate and the third is still going strong after 3 yrs.. It is our sprocker's favourite toy and used for training. It has started to look a bit worse for wear so this is to replace when necessary. It's been the best. Would definately recommend the Aqua Kong.

This toy is very dangerous. I gave it to my 1 1/2 year old French bulldog. Within one minute I was hearing distressed shouts from my daughter. All the fibres in the rope part had been pulled out very easily. They are like fishing wire and bunch up. I had to act quickly so my dog didn't choke. I reported to Pets at Homexwith supporting pictures and was told I would have to take it to the nearest shop in order to get a refund. Utterly ridiculous even if they're wasn't currently a pandemic. I am still fighting for a refund without having to venture out. Terrible customer service. Very rude email back from them! Completely disgraceful considering the amount of money I spend with them for all of my pets!
Had to get another of these as we lost our old one (5yrs old) to the sea. A distracted throw meant not seeing where it landed and not knowing where to go. But the Kong Aqua provides my dog with hours of fun. We just love it.
This is hands-down by shepherds favourite toy! We only use it with him when we take him out for walks when he is going to be allowed off-lead, as he prefers this toy over any treats we have ever used. By only using it when we take him out for walks, it keeps him completely engaged with us. Its great to throw (wind it up using the rope), flies a far distance and has a great bounce. Floats great in the water and is easy to visualise. As with the previous reviews, we accidentally left it out one day when he was home alone and he chewed through the rope very quickly, so would not use as an everyday toy.
Great dog toy. Easily visible as it's bright orange, floats in water which is a godsend as my dog loves water and taking his toy in there also the rope means I don't need to carry a ball flinger. The role is robust and the toy will hold up to tug of war. This is my third one, not because they have broken .......first one had the rope chess off by a fox and the second was lost. The product was promptly dispatched as promised
I have faith in your Kong products! We had a lot of dog toys that were not Kong products. My son came home an spent a month here with his 6 month old lab mix puppy and our two small dogs. Almost every toy was destroyed! I started buying Kong and watched all the dogs! They played rough and all toys were in tact! Now I just buy Kong!
Managed to shred the rope after a few chews, very fibrous and hazardous. The Kong’s life was short, didn’t last one week before the top ring was split, and that was alternating playtime with Extreme Kong. One point for the colour, one point that it did float. Waste of money for this staffy girl.
My dog loves this toy at the beach as we can throw it so far into the ocean using the rope. He also has the best time playing tug with it although the rope has started to fray after one use (assuming it's not designed for tug so still a five star product in my opinion) He actually played with it when one of his friends at the beach brought it and he's been obsessed ever since so we had to get him his own! Definitely recommend for all the beach dogs
