I got this in size x-small, and it is EXTRA small. I was expecting small but this is just crazy miniature.Luckily I bought this for my Chihuahua puppy so it works out perfectly for her. I would only recommend this product in size x-small to toy breeds. The bone itself is just under 9cm in length, extremely flexible but does feel durable for a Chihuahua. It is MUCH softer than other Kong products, as this is specifically for puppy teeth, so I do not expect her to keep using this into adulthood.The toy with the ends of the rope still attached to each ends of the bone and stretched out is roughly 22cm in length. They even went so far as to contact me to let me know the shipment was coming a little late due to a malfunction with the product packaging (Honestly I think it was late by only a few hours, maybe a day, as well).Overall I'm happy with the purchase, although I do wish it came flavoured as something other than a car tyre.

Fun Times for Solo play

We love the two textures if the rubber and rope. The bone part is soft enough for my under 10 wks old puppy. When she gets all fuesty and bites, we sometimes make the loop and her neck ( not tight or anything, just hanging) and she plays with it on her back without kicking it away.v Keeps her entertained for hours.

Gone in 60 Seconds

I want to start off by saying that I am a very big fan of Kong toys. However....my 8 month old rescue (beagle/dachshund mix) absolutely destroyed this toy within minutes. Buyers should be aware that it is a small toy and my puppy was able to undo the initial knots with relative ease. I was concerned that she would potentially choke on the small rubber bone so I re-tied the knot on each end. Regardless, she was still able to chew through the small, pink rope within minutes. (I was watching her while she played but was surprised at how quickly she was able to break the rope).Once the rope could no longer contain the bone, I had to throw out the whole toy. As mentioned, the rubber toy was too small by itself. Total time of play was about 5 minutes.

I thought....

this being a Kong toy it would last like the rest. I have a 14 month Boxer girl that isn't too rough on toys. This was priced right, so I got it with my order. Usually Kong toys last her a long time or have never torn apart. That was not the case with this. Within five minutes the small bone was off, the rope was separated, and within two days the bone was split in half. I couldn't believe she had destroyed this Kong within a few minutes.

Our favorite toy!

This is a puppy toy or for small dogs, light chewers. It is small. I gave it to my bichon and my mini poodle when they were puppies & two years later its still their favorite. Sometimes the knots loosen up so i pull them tight from time to time. They have lasted for going on 2 yrs now. What's great is if the rope falls out you can put treats in the ends of the bone or fill the ends with peanut butter, freeze it and they are entertained for a long time. Its a great toy for the right dog despite other negative review who are disappointed bc they didnt read the description on size. Its not for large dogs or heavy chewers so don't expect it to hold up to them bc it was meant for little teethies.

Puppy loves!

This is getting bad reviews for no reason!We’ve had this for 2+ weeks and my 13 week old labradoodle loves it. Not sure how, but she unties the rope (easy to remedy). The rope is the perfect size for her The entire thing is perfectly puppy sized (reading is a lost art, the description gives measurements) and she prefers chomping on this much more than the huge rope we have. I’m buying another because we’ll need it eventually given how often she goes for this one.

She loves it but

It is super small but a perfect size for my Yorkie puppy. I am disappointed by the rope part and took it from my dog almost immediately as there were strings everywhere which is a choking concerns. I can see how the bone could be chewed through quickly as it is rather soft as others have mentioned. I’m surprised it was made by Kong. It is not durable at all and went straight into the trash.

TINY KONG TOY

I bought this for my medium sized beagle thinking it would be a fun tug toy. It showed up and i actually laughed.. it is soooo tiny. This toy is made for the smallest breed puppy you can imagine. I couldn't even give it to my dog with the feat that she might just swallow the little rubber bone.I gave the toy 3 stars because it isn't the toy or websites fault, just writing a review for the next person to buy this expecting something bigger.

Very Very Small

Bought this for my 8 week Malinois pup. Way too small. My fault, should of read the dimensions but Kong / Chewy should add that this is for small breed puppies in their description. The rubber didn't last very long either. Dog shredded it in minutes. If you have a large or medium breed pup or just an aggressive chewer don't buy this teething chew.
