BUY THIS. It is made of very sturdy METAL, not plastic. Solid construction... fits very securely and will allow you to attach any type of mic to pretty much any rim and many other drum accessories and mounts of all types. As far as the other guy here saying it lacks rotational ability... I dont see that... you can rotate the mic clip 360 degrees and 180 degrees up or down. I use it in combination with small, bullet-like condenser mics with GREAT results. This should be the first item that comes up when you search DRUM MIC CLIP, but it isn't even on the list. shame. Buy a few, you won't be sorry.

It was a pretty ordonalry type of purchase but I was impressed with the price and the speed of handling of the order and despatch for delivery.I tried to buy locally but “out of stock, it will take a couple of weeks” was the common response.

This stand is constructed of strong material and attaches securely to snare (Or other) drum without marring rim surface. Major drawback is lack of rotational ability of the mic attachment bracket.Luckily, the bracket is made of very strong material, and by slowly bending in my vise and using the rotation on the plastic mic holder attached to bracket, I was able to get the mic low enough over the snare so I didn't contact the mic as I moved sticks to play toms or cowbell, etc. in the vicinity of mic.This adaptation would not be necessary if manufacturer simply made the bracket rotational 90 degrees to either side.
The design is great but quality is poor. These clamps bent first use where they attach to the rim. Also pieces fall off easily. There are better options.
I use for toms. No wiggling, no need to tighten with a 2' breaker bar (exaggeration), Very fast mount. Strong metal frame remains stiff. Plus my wife likes candy, so when I buy toys from Sweetwater, it lightens the amount of doo doo I have to listen to.
They work the way i wanted them to.
I returned them for a better product. Nice compact clips but they are cheaply made. The steel part is great but they used a plastic block to lock on to the drum rim and it was falling apart the first time I tried to clamp one on my kit.
