I don’t usually write reviews but feel I have to for these. So scratchy and not comforting at all. I washed them, put them on the bed, and my partner and I tolerated them for 15 minutes before having to get out of bed and put our old sheets back on. Would rate 0 stars if I could.Due to all the other poor reviews, Spotlight should just stop stocking these as unfortunately due to the return policy, you don’t discover how terrible the sheets are until they’re already out of the packaging and on your bed and so you’re stuck with them.

Bought these sheets about a month ago. Wish I had read the reviews. These are as far away from linen and cotton as a sheep is from an acrylic jumper.They are hot, coarse and do not have any of the characteristics of linen or cotton sheets. Would be interested to see the lab test results from quality control on my set. Should have spotted something fishy when they list linen as the main fibre and then decline to state the percentage. Last time I buy sheets from Spotlight. Very disappointed ☹️

This sheet has given me and my washing machine grief. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE MATERIAL. The piling got overboard that machine was so clogged up it has overworked the motor. I spent 70$ on this "linen sheets" only to spend 500$ more for a new washing machine. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS SHEET SET AT ALL COST. SPARE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE. I rarely put reviews in but when I do, i sure do mean it. Don't do it to yourselves

Itchy! I'm so disappointed with these sheets, I was so excited to put them in our new house however they feel itchy and hot.Have now washed them 3 times and still find them uncomfortable. Swapped them over with cheap sheets we already had as they feel much nicer. So disappointed :(
Purchased from Spotlight on sale, a few months ago.I've bought this brand for years and loved them. Why on earth would they make a sheet no one wants to sleep on. The only good thing about this sheet is the colour. To the touch in store they felt fine, But sleeping on them is not possible.
I purchased these linen/cotton blend sheets believing they would be soft...as advertised. But they are the opposite....rough and prickly, like sleeping on a hession bag. The course fabric makes them so uncomfortable to sleep on that they are totally unusable. I have not written a product review before but the Product Description of "unparalleled comfort and natural softness" is so misleading I feel it shouldn't be left unreported. A total waste of money......I see now that reviews going back at least 3 years are reporting the same issue, so the unsuitable fabric is obviously known about.
Material feel's beautiful. Washed on gentle cold cycle. Trying to get them on the bed. They are too small. Can't get them to fit. Doesn't matter what I do I can't get them on. Bought a king for a king bed. Been making beds for 55 years so I know how to get sheets on. Very disappointing
Love the sheets, linen sheets are good - but they’re a linen/cotton blend. If you’re looking for 100 % linen - these are not for you. That said, they’re a great budget option…Also - they’re not white as described … more a very soft cream…. Again, not a deal breaker in this case - but I was disappointed 😢
The sheets I thought at first were top quality until I washed them and hung on the line with the flat sheet has 4 oil or ink stains which did not come out in the wash. As I always wash my linen before I use them I could not take it back. Very disappointing
I got these as a Christmas present and I had heard that pure linen sheets can take some time to wear in, which was very true. After the first couple of washes I was skeptical about whether or not the “itch” factor would go away and after a few more wash and wears, they have quickly turned into my favourite sheets! So buttery, smooth, and very breathable. I’ve just come on to buy another set and noticed the low rating so needed to warn PATIENCE WILL PAY OFF! They do fluff a little too but a quick turn in the laundromat dryer every now and again definitely helps speed up the transformation. I have been rotating between these and my other sheets fortnightly for about 6 months now - I would say give it about 5 wash and wears and a couple of dyer tumbles before the magic ...
