This is a good tuner for 6 string guitars, 7 string guitars, and basses, provided that they are in standard tuning. However, if you use alternate tuning, it may confuse one for the other. When I tuned my 6 string electric down to C#, the tuner kept trying to find the 7 string low 'b', making it useless. Although it has a 'flat' control, a simple manual select switch would solve everything.

Was looking for an inexpensive simple easy to use guitar tuner without all the bells and whistles that I don't need. This fit the bill. It's quite accurate.

It works great. It is very accurate, very reasonablely priced. I have ab my older model that is still working after years, heck I can't remember how long I've had it! This thing can even help you if your picks are too high, tune your guitar before you amp up and I love that it works great for Guitar and bass. If needle is waving Sharp and Flat lower the bridge and wa-la. This more apparent when setting the intonation. This includes 4, 5, and 6 and at lets the one 7 string guitar I used it on. I do tell friends about it, gave one as a gift and would buy another if I needed it! An easy 5 star.

Bought this so I could check tuning as I was setting up my strat. Plug a guitar in and check. Great product. Happy.
I find that this tuner is very good because in my opinion it is accurate. I would recommend it to anyone who neesd a good tuner.

This tuner is fine for guitars not bass. It will not pick up the low D string . also has no calibration there are better tuners out there shame Korg makes great tuners but not this time for the price not bad .
