I currently have the Nautilus 88 for a secondary keyboard . I also own a Kronos 2 88 as my primary . I heard lot of people asume that the your getting the Kronos sounds and you don’t. This keyboard does have the engines but does a not the same German Grands . It does have the Italian Grands which is more then enough. The nautilus is a keyboard on its own I could not compare it to a Kronos .Before I purchase it I had tried the Yamaha YC 88, Nord stage 3 and the new Fantom 88 I was not impressed them at all . The Nautilus was not great out of the box but after editing it I was able to create great sounding piano an patches. Those other I tried but nothing worked . Truly impressed with the keyboard for its price , quality built and sound

So many different sounds that are record worthy for albums. While it really needs a ribbon control, and there are a few minor annoyances like a little too heavy on arpeggio based sounds, it doesn't keep this from being my main focal keyboard and studio equipment. Also it is very versatile for live performance. Program and putting together entire songs and sequences into four separate parts and then move between them is a breeze. And of course having Korg Set List is always a plus. I recommend it as a key piece of your home or professional studio

I have been playing Korg keyboards for nearly a decade now, and having tried many others, I find Korg to be one of the most user friendly, and easy to use keyboards on the market. The Nautilus is no exception. The Nautilus is loaded with many great voices, including some of the best piano sounds I have heard. The Setlist feature is great for live performance. Creating and editing combinations is fairly simple and straightforward. The weighted action feels nice. I would have rather had a volume knob than a slider, but everything about this keyboard seems to be very good, Japanese quality. It is a heavy keyboard. I would highly recommend a good case if you plan to gig with this keyboard, and a good, sturdy stand.

Have been thinking about adding a full size versatile Piano/Synth/Workstation to my Home Studio. Been seeing the hype on the Nautilus for about a year. Looked around at the ones available and decided to hold out for this. Seen it was finally available, pulled the trigger and I am thrilled with this instrument. Worth every penny.I have had this only for a few days and have barely scratched the surface of its ability however all I can say is it was a great choice without a doubt. From the feel of the keyboard to the library of sounds. Very intuitive, easy to operate and you can go as deep as yo need to.I will update down the road but for anyone thinking about this one, go for it you won't be disappointed.

I ended up purchasing a Korg Nautilus somewhere else. And couldn’t be happier. It does everything I need it to do and does it very well. Thanks Korg

Nautilus is an updated Kronos2 with arp and w/o Karma
21 May 2022

I've owned this workstation for 46 days. So it is a keeper. Nautilus has everything I want in a modern 61 key workstation: Multiple synth engines. Realistic pianos. Great analog sounds. Tons of preset patches for string/woodwind/brass/percussion instruments and vocal/choir patches. Both, realistic and synthetic. Sounds that can be edited and created for custom programs and combos. Touchscreen controls, Modern sampling capabilities. 16 audio tracks. 16 midi track sequencer. Vocoder. 100s of onboard effect processors. 4 way joystick. Multiple individual 1/4" outputs. Removable storage capabilities. Large capacity internal storage capabilities. Assignable switch and pedal controls. Only issue I have is it outputs only 2 audio channels through USB (same as Kronos2) instead of 16 audio channels. But you can output up to 4 separate audio channels through the individual 1/4" outputs, on a single pass. This Nautilus accompanies my previous legacy workstation in my studio.

Review of Refurbished Nautilus 88

The item was was well packed and delivered on time. Due to health issues I haven't had much time to spend on the 'Nautalus' but that will be rectified soon. I have been looking at the on line tutorials by Steve Mcnally (I look forward to putting the 2 together as one package). I have a double stand and just need to look at connecting them. Tutorials on line or 'youtube' would be good on how to set up the instruments to play certain music i.e. 'You Know My Name'' (James Bond).

Warm and Wonderful

I see some folks around the internet complaining that there's no aftertouch, Karma and that it's not as good as the Kronos. These folks are IMHO crybabies. No, it's not a Kronos. It's a Nautilus. Go buy a used Kronos. This board is perfect as it is. For this price range you are getting some of the finest sounds/samples in any board. Over 2000 of them. The keybed is great. KORG delivered a winner.

outstanding piece of HW and SW and Keyboard

This is a great keyboard for combo patches/programs. the sounds are great. The computer software editor is not the best, it seems dated in that regard. Surface controls are minimal, compared to others, but things work. You need a perfect stand with the 88 key version. Built very solid, boot time is long. Loading sounds is a bit longer than others. A great keyboard for a single purchase or to add to an ensemble of keyboards. Detailed instructions.
