I bought a Roland E-20 back in 1988. Lost the desire to play due to work and other stuff, but started getting the bug again when I saw a youtube clip of a Yamaha Tyros. Have watched and dreamed of having something like that till now. Got a great deal with no interest financing and now I'm taking online classes to get rid of the rust. Absolutely love this Korg pa600. Will take me a while to get up to speed, but that's half the fun.

I bought the pa600 because I always wanted a Korg and I wanted to upgrade from the entry level keyboard I have to something I can use to write music. I love the pa600. It’s easy to use out of the box and it sounds great. I’ve yet to tap into all the power it has and I’m looking forward to using it more. Very happy with this purchase. I also bought the B&H recommended stand, seat and headphones which are all great.

Overall:I'm still behind the learning curve with this thing, but it's already sped up my songwriting/demo recording. The sounds are amazing. The built-in speakers are surprisingly exceptional. Writing on this thing is seemless and inspiring. The staff at zZounds are helpful and friendly. I can't say enough about this keyboard. I've owned so many through the years and this thing is a wonder for it's intended purpose. If you want to accelerate your song/demo recording, consider the Korg Pa600 your ally. You won't be disappointed.

This was used in our duo. We tried every imaginable keyboard on the market and this one has the best instrument voices of all the others. Drums are truly amazing. We were able to record all of our tracks to USB drive and play them through the keyboard at our live performances. On the fly editing, adding, subtracting and changing instruments and fx. Amazing! In fairness, it's not a Tyros but it was the closest thing we could find for less than $1,000. Highly recommend!
We got this as a replacement for a Yamaha Keyboard for Church. It is awesome, this was a gift for our choir director and she loves it. She had the Yamaha PSR 730 for 18 years and this was her upgrade. She is just learning all the features on it since it has a lot. It sounds wonderful, the speakers are powerful and the sound is clean, realistic and powerful. Worth every penny on it.
I bought it mainly for home use, but will also use it on stage performances. I am very impressed with the sounds that are full and rich sounding. The keyboard is a delight to play. I found it easy to use, but can get a little intimidating digging into more complex functions, however the video manual does explain it well. Lots of versatility! I'm lovin' it! Well worth the money.

Overall:I bought the pa600 on the same day as the pa700 was released. I could not justify the price increase of the pa700 for its features for my use. zZounds not only priced matched a competitors but beat that price and to top it off gave a me 12 months payment plan plus free 2 day shipping. Now about the pa600, it does everything I want it to do. Once you understand the operating system and accept its learning curve, it took me about a month to have it set up and stage performance ready. Thanks zZounds for making this Korg purchase a pleasant experience for this retired musician. You guys are one of the good guys in the music retail business.
Overall:I had the Pa600 for 2 months and decided to record with it. When I plugged it in, there was a loud hiss. My other keyboards were fine when I recorded with them, so it was not the interface or anything else. It was the Korg. I took it in to have it fixed, and Korg said it was "normal."They refused to honor the warranty. So I'm stuck with an expensive keyboard that I can't record with. The sounds weren't bad. But I liked other keyboards better.
Overall:Once you fire this up you quickly realize why it's such a popular piece of gear. It has a solid build, great features and since it's been around a while there are plenty of add-on styles and sounds easily found on the web. I bought a Krome for my wife which has no built-in speakers so I didn't know what to expect with the built-in speakers on this rig but was happily surprised that it's got some meat on the bone with no vibration even on the bassiest tones. I think the Krome has a bit nicer keybed but this one is very nicely done. It feels good and responds well and you won't get cut up on plasticky sharp edges. Overall this is just a solid keyboard well worth every penny and so far has been loads of fun to use.
