I have the Accu-cut XL been using it for years now. I wanted to order anti chip replacements but none were available at this time. I had a couple kickbacks and my saw jumpped and cut my track. a time or two. So I desided to buy this to replace the track as well as the anti-chip strips all in one. This saves me money because I replace the track and get the strips for $20 more. It also makes my track even longer If I needed it. This is the best system I found to cut up sheets of plywood by myself. I don't have the space to cut full sheets in my garage. This system is worth every penny spent.

I am a big fan of Kreg products. Unfortunately the Accu-Cut does not make the cut - pun intended. I own the Rip Cut and an extremely happy with the way it performs. I expected the Accu-Cut to perform as well but it came up short in many ways. First, the anti-slip quide tracks did not grip well. I expected the guide to hold onto cabinet grade plywood but it moved. I thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed and de-dusted my workpiece and the guide continued to move. So I attempted to clamp the guide. But the guide is not easily used with my inventory of clamps. It was ridiculous to need to purchase two Kreg clamps at $20 each just to be able to use the guide. Lastly there is a lot of slop in the guide and the cut. How can the product be called Accu-Cut when the cut has about ... MoreI am a big fan of Kreg products. This thing is a totally useless piece of junk. Kreg should be embarrased to put their name on it. Don't be fooled by any favorable review because thhose folks obviusly don't know what they are doing or have not actually used it.Problems: The sled is made from an unreinforced piece of plastic. When you clamp your saw even using moderate set screw pressure, it causes the sled to distort. (picture a curved bottom) The saw does not sit tight to the track and can tilt and move side to side rendering expensive material into trash. There is excessive side to side play preventing a true straight cut even by the most experienced woodworker When the saw is placed over the plastic track extender to mbegin the cut it upsets the balance and causes the track to lift off of the ... MoreThis thing is a totally useless piece of junk. Since there is no way to clamp it down it just relies on friction to hold in place while cutting. I could go on and on but folks please don't waste your hard earned money. Buy a straight edge clamp for a few bucks. Use it with a framing square for set-up and make much more accurate cuts.
