The packaging is great, the shampoo does clarify your hair, it is actually very drying. I used it too much during 1 month (5-6 times) and my scalp was flaking like no tomorrow, which is normal. It will make your hair very dry and brittle, try to use a lamellar water rince, like the Wonder water or other L’Oreal ones, or the Amika, Redken, Kerastase ones. Then use a deep conditioner. I find the shampoo way too overpriced, even on sales, it’s the price of salon quality shampoo. Prices at the drugstore are getting ridiculous. I will be buying salon products to replace this one, it is not worth it.

I really don't understand how this is a clarifying shampoo, I even shampoo twice in my shower too, that's my routine I always shampoo twice but especially when I have oil in my hair. My first order of business today will be returning this thing to Ulta and getting the Ouai Detox that I should have just splurged on in the first place. Then I need to rewash and blow dry my hair again, for the second time within 24 hours which is infuriating. Add to all of that the fact that this thing doesn't have any scent that I can smell. I expect my hair care products to be highly scented, I prefer musky non floral scents but regardless it should be scented. When I stick my nose in the bottle I can vaguely smell something, but when using it in the shower and after: nothing, smells like literally nothing. And I had the same panic too with no scent so I checked and I can smell everything else just not this shampoo. 0/10 would definitely not recommend this shampoo, maybe the regular one is better, but I won't be finding out.

Doesn't cleanand overpowerinly scented

I’ve always heard great things about this brand, but after using this tonight I don’t think I will ever try them again. The product would not lather at all. Didn’t feel like it cleaned anything. I don’t use any products but shampoo on my hair. It just gets oily quickly. The scent was so strong that I used my regular shampoo and washed it twice to try to get rid of the smell and actually clean my hair. I do not recommend because it didn’t clean, was too strongly scented and overpriced. Definitely taking it back.

Drying

I like how it smells, light scent. Just one use (3 hours ago) my hair feels EXTREMELY dry, like straw. I don’t use heating products, I dry my hair with a microfiber towel or even air dry. Sometimes, I don’t put oil or leave in conditioner in my hair cause it’s decently soft (growing the color out). My hair was getting softer but this just ruined all my progress. I have wavy thick hair. This just feels like it fried my hair and scalp, my scalp is so dry and itchy. My hair and scalp wasn’t this bad until I used this product this morning. I don’t even want to attempt another wash with this in fear of my hair and scalp. This product may work for others, but not for me.

Game changing product. Tips on how to use correctly below

This product is great! I have thin wavy/curly hair and I love this cleansing shampoo. I do use a lot of gel, curl cream, and other products in my hair daily. This shampoo really helps stop build up and add volume to my hair again. I have learned a few things about it though. I think most of the negative reviews are user error and I have learned a few things that may good to know when considering this purchase. I used to use this product every day which I do not recommend. Buy a 2nd shampoo and use this one 1-3 times a month. I often use a deep conditioning curl conditioner after using this and I found out that is the best combination for my hair. Or a hair mask works too. As long as you use it only a couple times a month with another hydrating (sulfate free recommend) shampoo and conditioner you should be perfectly fine. I would highly recommend this to a friend because it is a game changer in hair care. I would recommend you reading the information/instructions on the bottle and just find out the combination that works best with your hair. Also I often use this after oil treatment, working out/sweating, excessive hair product use, after purple shampoo (cause those aren’t sulfate free) , and when I feel like my hair is lacking volume.

HAIR LOSS!!!!!

I deal with dandruff. This did work wonders for that but my hair fell out! Buy beware!! I have very think hair and normal have very little hair loss. I had clumps of hair falling out. I would have to clean my brush every time I used it due to all the hair loss. I could not figure out what was going on. I loved this shampoo and conditioner. It smelled good, left hair soft and shiny and biggest plus no dandruff. When doing little more research into this product this is a very common issue. After a week of not using these products absolutely no hair loss. Please do not use this!!

Hair Loss- Be Aware

This shampoo ruined my hair. I have experienced so much hair loss while using this product. I used it once a week and my hair has thinned out significantly. I didn’t realize until a friend of mine said something about how much less hair I had and asked if I used something new. You can see right through to my scalp in multiple areas. It dawned on me in that moment it was this. Please be very cautious. I have to nurse my hair back to health again and it’s going to take time. I checked the reviews for multiple products from this brand and there are too many similar reports of hair loss. Please be careful.

Holy Grail for my fine hair

I bought this product on a whim after searching for a clarifying shampoo. I have a lot of hair but very very fine hair strands and lately I've been experiencing a lot of product build up - I would wash my hair and it would still feel like 2-3 day dirty hair. Anyway, I found this product while searching and it happened to be on sale so I got it. I will ALWAYS keep this in my arsenal now. It smells AMAZING and I just use a deep conditioner treatment from mid shaft down after using. My hair is so squeaky clean and has so much shine and bounce. I did not find it overly drying at all and it actually helped cut down on my blow drying time. I'll probably use this once every few weeks to keep my hair feeling it's best.

Don't use this if you have particularly thin and dry hair as it could thin your hair more and cause some loss, and do NOT use this everyday. Works miracles!!!

This shampoo SAVED my hair. I’ve been using Native shampoo conditioner for about 6 months and I noticed my scalp start to have so much dandruff. It was REALLY bad. My hit also seemed really oily pretty quickly. At this point, it felt like I just couldn’t get it out no matter how long I rinsed. There was just lots of build up. This shampoo literally saved my hair. After one wash, it felt significantly better and actually clean. I paired it with the curl quench conditioner on my ends (even though I have straight hair) and use a little on my scalp and my hair looks and feels so much better. I hardly ever leave reviews but I feel like this shampoo definitely deserves some recognition.
