L'Occitane Intensive Repair Shampoo is a very good product leaving my hair smooth and shiny. It is on the expensive side but does last a good length of time. I was very pleased to buy this from John Lewis at a 15% off price. I only wish I had bought 2 bottles!

I've been using this shampoo for at least a decade and I can honestly say that no other shampoo compares for an overall positive experience. I have thick wavy hair. This leaves my scalp just the right amount of clean (I used to get oily roots with other shampoos) My hair it very healthy, I experience very little hair loss and it grows fast. I didn't like the conditioner for my hair time, I need more moisture but the shampoo is excellent.

I ordered the shampoo and the conditioner as a set - and was delighted to find the shampoo twice the volume of the conditioner. Like everyone else, I shampoo twice and condition once. Thus, I have half a dozen bottles of conditioner with some left in the bottle. The shampoo itself got my hair clean and left it feeling good. My sister-in-law visited, used it, and said she didn't think she needed any conditioner after using it so didn't. Downside? I wish, since I'm 81 and need glasses to distinguish conditioner and shampoo, they'd print that information a little larger. I had to leave the shower, dry my eyes, put on my glasses to choose the right product - especially since the label on the conditioner says to be used after shampoo.

I've used Klorane (cult French pharmacy brand) and other natural shampoos. The volumizing one from this brand too, finally decided nothing suits me better than the Intense Repair. It rarely goes on sale, but the online stores wanted to clear up their stock, so it was on discount. I've stockpiled a bit but really hoping that they only changed the package and not the formula. Aromatherapy inspired or not, the green bottle looked much better than the new boring brown version. When will brands realize not to tamper with what's already working very well? It's expensive, not much is required, smells very pleasant, lathers well. Leaves my fine textured, colored, limp hair feeling better with more volume. It's expensive, but my daughter swears by it. She's tried a lot of other shampoos for her (rather unruly, prone to frizz and dryness) hair and this is the one that works the best. She might give it five stars, I don't know....but the price made me subtract one star. I bought it as a stocking stuffer/Christmas present, along with the solid shampoo bar for when she's travelling (she hasn't tried that yet).

I got a sample of L'occitane Shampoo and Conditioner not this one and really enjoyed it so decided to check out the rest of the range. I have Course Grey hair which is prone to being dry and lifeless. I read the reviews and bought a Shamppo and matching conditioner. When it arrived I used it immediately. At first I thought I had received two conditioners the Shampoo is exactly the same a white thick creamy consistancy unlike any other Shampoo I have used before. It doesn't lather at all but it does clean and doesn't aggravate my scalp. I used to suffer from an itchy sore scalp that has gone and I no longer itch. Combined with the conditioner my hair is much better and looks healthier. Yes it is expensive but oh so worth it.
This is the first time I have tried this shampoo and I am overjoyed I have found it. I have tried many different products over my vast number of years and L'Occitane Intensive Repair comes out (excuse the pun) head and shoulders above the rest for results - shiny clean hair: fantastic foamy lather; and, importantly, my coloured hair feels stronger and more manageable. My scalp feels nice and clean and the general condition of my hair is vastly improved. Very pleased.
I was given sample of this and I was pleasantly surprised.it cleaned my hair by stripping the other salon quality brand shampoo residue (?) and my hair became soft!! I don't know why it happened. i have healthy hair without any coloring and somehow this one worked well on me.
I've always struggled with dry hair and needed to condition it heavily. But then conditioner adds weight. Since I've been using this, I no longer need to use conditioner and my hair is in better condition than it's ever been. Truly excellent. It's great when you travel, I don't need to take conditioner now. I get so many compliments about my hair looking in lovely condition these days. I love this shampoo and a bottle lasts ages because you only need a really small amount. Yes, it's expensive but it really is excellent shampoo and I'm not buying expensive conditioner now, so I'm very happy!
