[brand:loreal-excellence-hair-color] is a tool in my hairdressing toolbox! This is the first color that I have used that will lift dark hair color more than a couple shades. Their entire line is meant for this purpose and this purpose only. You do use 40 volume which leaves the hair in a not so healthy condition. But luckily with the help of [brand:olaplex]  This is a thing of the past. They don’t have a huge Selection to choose from but what they do have rocks. I have used the magenta and red hot Together for an amazing combination.

I never used this product before and I’m so impressed with the result. The color is so bright and perfect I’m in love of the color. I use two tubes to color my hair because I have a lot of hair and is kind of long, and yes guys I cut off my hair too is not that long as it was but is not too short too. But this color is dye is totally recommend it I use one number 5H on my mom’s hair and the color is so bright and beautiful as well. We love it.

I like the whole concept of not having to lighten your hair to get your desired look with this product. It worked great. The color looked beautiful and vibrant. The formula was smooth and creamy, very easy to use. The only con that I have which isn’t really a con but a mistake on my part, once the formula is on the hair closer to the roots or on the roots it changed a lot faster than the rest of the hair. I’m guessing this is due to the heat from the scalp heating up the formula thus making it process faster. Next time when I do try it out I will be sure to put it on the hair first and let that process for a little while before adding the color to the root area. I have naturally black hair. Like not even brown, but like black, level 1 hair. So when I say to people that in my heart I was meant to be born a redhead you can understand the raised eyebrows I get. Boxed color has been super hit or miss for me in terms of color consistency or brightness because of the amount of lift I need to get color to stick. Especially finicky color like red. I have always been a big fan of the HiLights Hicolor line so i thought i could give this Excellence Hicolor a try this time. I picked Sizzling Copper and as soon as I prepared it i almost got knocked out from the insane strong ammonia scent. That should of been my cue to defer from putting on my head but I went along applying it. While i was washing it off an insane amount of hair fell off but i thought it must be normal after just dying it. Well its been almost 3 full weeks and up until 2 days ago did the crazy amount of hair loss stopped. I had NEVER experienced this much hair loss due to a hair dye and had never smelled so much ammonia in one either. I will never ever EVER go near this product again!
