I was excited to try this item as I really struggle finding an eyebrow pencil or application method I’m happy with. The pros - creates a natural look and able to imitate eyebrow hairs quite easily. No scent so that’s a bonus for me as I consider it unnecessary for eyebrow products! Soft, gentler , delicate texture that glides on easily. Potential cons? Haven’t yet worn it long enough to know how long it will stay on but so far so good. I consider this more suitable when I want a softer, more natural effect and finish and I am pleased with it and will consider this as my luxury item for nights out/special occasions as it feels more special than a regular eyebrow pencil. 104 Chatain - product no longer exists

FYI - it seems some the shades and names of the shades have changed and Boots have not updated their website to reflect this. I ordered 104 Chatain and was sent 6.32 Auburn. The Auburn is slightly more red/warm in colour than the Chatain shadeBoots should have updated their website - after receiving the product and then researching I found out via a competitor website that L'Oreal have removed some of the shades of this product and created new shades.

At last! An eyebrow product I love!!

At last! I’ve found an eyebrow product that’s easy to apply and the perfect colour for my complexion and hair colour!I like my eyebrows to look defined yet relatively natural and feel uncomfortable when they’re too dark.I chose the blonde colour in this product and it’s spot on. Not too dark and not a weird colour either which I’ve experienced before.Because the product is so slim, it makes precise application a doddle. The product stays on really well too.Plain and simple, I love it and it’ll be my go to eyebrow fix from now on!

Discontinued pencil. New pencil not as good

Loreal discontinued the old silver pencil. Ordered and received the black one. This has a different formula. The product is too soft, the pigment is lacking and it breaks too easily. I bought in bulk. Now that I’ve finished them I’ll have to find a comparable product.

Fantastic precision eyebrow pencil

I absolutely love this brow pencil, the precise skinny tip is great as you have much more control to create beautiful eyebrows & it also helps that it does not put too much product on them like other thick brow pencils do, as this can cause your brows to look too drawn on & thick. With this skinny tip you can get more natural looking brows & its handy having the spoolie brush on the other end of the pencil as I use this to blend the pencil in more to create a more natural looking brow. I used 101 blonde in colour, which is perfect for my blonde hair & fair colour skin tone as I much prefer using blonde compared to brown as I prefer a softer more natural looking colour on my brows as I personally find browns can be too harsh for my hair/skin colour. Precise and defined natural looking brows!

I love this product! It creates the appearance of well defined, natural brows from only a few strokes. I love the skinny pencil as this allowed me to create thin swipes that mimics individual natural looking strands of brow hair. I could fill in my brows to my liking effortlessly and they appeared precise and defined each time! I also love how the pencil is retractable meaning there is no need to sharpen the pencil which I can find frustrating when I am short for time when getting ready. Great product! I would highly recommend and will continue to use myself daily!

When they say skinny, they mean skinny. This perfectly compact Eyebrow pencil is absolutely amazing at filling in sparse brows. The colour itself is pigmented enough that you can clearly see where you've applied it but once you go over it with the spoolie on the end, it Blends the colour perfectly into your natural brows, helping them to look fuller, fluffier or more defined (depending on your preference). I've had a HG (Holy Grail) Eyebrow liner for well over 10 years but after trying this and seeing how natural it looks, it has taken its place in my makeup bag. The best colour match and easy application

This is the best eyebrow pencil I have ever used! I’m seriously so disappointed that you have discontinued this colour. Just when I find something I like it’s gone. Please consider bringing it back I will buy all the stock you have.

This new formula sucks. Don't waste your money.

I used the Skinny Definer Brow Artist pencil for 6+ years. Came to repurchase, only to find this new "rebrand", I figured it would be the same but they have changed the formula. If you loved the one in the silver pencil like I did, don't waste your money on this like me. The new formula is far too creamy, bordering on greasy. The claim of "24 hour wear"? Laughable! You might make it an hour before it smears or just plain rubs off. Compared to the previous version of this product, this wipes away instantly, gentle strokes appear as if applied with a heavy hand and yet somehow lack deep pigment (Shade: Ebony), no crisp lines to be found. L'Oreal Paris really missed the mark with this, I'll be switching brands.

What have they done!?

Devastated... I used the silver style pencil for years and loved it, the shade blonde 101 was so perfect as I found other brands added too much yellow or orange pigment and this was so natural, easy to apply and lasted all day. When I recently went to boots I couldn't find it anywhere... Turns out it's been rebranded so me being naive bought the new one (casing now black) in the shade blonde 7.0 thinking it would be the same... It's not, it's not as creamy and the shade is nowhere near the same.
