I was very attracted to the colour that's on the box and I had to buy it and let me say it was the best thing I have done in my life. I was worried because of the negative reviews but please ignore them! This a very a beautiful colour. It is like a ashy light brown/gold. I looks amazing in the sunlight. It a beautiful ashy golden blonde. I love, love, love this colour! I will be buying box load of this colour. Let me give you a tip use blue shampoo. I use the aussie one, it has lighten the dark shade. When I put it on My hair It was developing after 5 mins into a really nice carmal colour. I'm very happy with my happy and this hair colour. Pls buy it you will not regret it.

My hair had roots showing and brassy lengths after somer, which would fade with a toner, but wanted to go back to my natural hair colour, which would be a L'Oréal Ultra dark ash blond -6.11, however, since the hair colourant was on offer, bought two shades, which was also Dark ash blonde 7.11, and decided to try this one first, as people reviewed it to be light ash brown, as hair dye usually comes out a little darker, so if you are choosing between two shades it's advisable to choose a lighter shade, so I tried the 7.11 today instead. The end result on my hair turned out just like the box! Dark ash blonde! Obviously, I wished it was darker haha, but then I should of probably tried the 6.11 instead, if it does prove to look like the box colour as end result, but ... MoreMy hair had roots showing and brassy lengths after somer, which would fade with a toner, but wanted to go back to my natural hair colour, which would be a L'Oréal Ultra dark ash blond -6.11, however, since the hair colourant was on offer, bought two shades, which was also Dark ash blonde 7.11, and decided to try this one first, as people reviewed it to be light ash brown, as hair dye usually comes out a little darker, so if you are choosing between two shades it's advisable to choose a lighter shade, so I tried the 7.11 today instead. As with all box dyes, the colour you get is darker than promised. In this instance if you want a nice neutral shade of light brown without any reddish tones, this is for you. Easy to apply and multi-tonal so you won’t end up with a ‘flat’ colour. My hair is about 10% grey and the rest is a sandy reddish blonde having been auburn when I was younger. It can go quite yellowy now and look a bit odd, so decided to neutralise it by just going light brown. Actual light brown dyes I tried all came out too dark, but this is perfect and because it’s a cool shade gets rid of the natural brassiness in my hair. Not the absolute best thing ever, but works pretty well as a light brown colour.

This is the first time I have used this brand so was slightly sceptical. I wanted a cool dark blond as my previously colour was beginning to look brassy and my hair was very dry. I looked into several options and chose this brand and colour based on the reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. The colour is lovely, very similar to that shown on the box and it took away the brassiness. It has faded slightly after a few washes but not too much. My hair was left feeling soft and shiny. It has a multi tonal look and I’ve had many compliments on the colour. The instructions are easy to follow and I would highly recommend this product.
My natural colour is the same as shown on the front of the box and I wanted to return to this colour. My hair had been lightened three shades lighter with acid (forgot what the acid is called, begins with H). This dye seemed ideal to get it back to dark ash blonde. I followed the instructions (although left on for 25 mins instead of 30). I actually forgot to bring the purple mask and shampoo into the bathroom with me but luckily I already had a strong purple shampoo so I just used that instead, then a moisturising conditioner. My hair has dried just now and the result is beautiful, a perfect ashy tone, nothing warm or brassy, no dodgy green. Got rid of the yellow I was disliking before. I thought it may go dark brown but it hasn't, it's still recognisably blonde. ... MoreMy natural colour is the same as shown on the front of the box and I wanted to return to this colour. I've only just dyed so I can't comment on longevity but the initial result is perfect.
I was very excited to dye my hair this colour, I have been wanting to go that little bit darker for so long! Instructions provided were easy to follow and the gloves actually fit nicely without the fear of them coming off. I dyed my hair myself and it was quite easy to do with what was provided. The colour turned out nicely and the shampoo and hair masque smell great. I have medium length hair and one box of dye was more than enough to cover it all. The best thing I found with this hair dye is it doesn’t stain your skin! It was very easy to wipe away without having to try scrub it off. I will definitely be purchasing this one or even another colour in this same brand again in future.
Had a little hair faux pas. Decided I wanted to lighten my hair back to my natural colour after dying dark for year. I usually go to the hairdresser but I did it myself. I bleached my hair and it went a horrible orange 😟. I tried another ash colour on it from a cheaper brand but did nothing. I them tried to put a toner on it but still nothing, still orange. I put another box bleach on it and it then went yellow. By this time I’d had enough. I saw this on you tube so thought I’d give it a go. Send husband out because I looked like a monster 😂. Thankfully due to this my hair has been fixed and I can go back out again. I definitely won’t be doing my hair again at home but if you end up in a mess like me I recommend this massively. I definitely won’t be doing my hair again at home but if you end up in a mess like me I recommend this massively. It really saved me from a huge mistake I did on my hair. I didn’t put it on the full 30 minutes I left it on for 20 because I was worried about my hair already frazzled. However it has come out quite soft and the product was easy to use.
Because my hair is very long, I purchased 2 more packets to get overall coverage (it’s no biggy). The package does say it’s non drip, but mine still dropped as I was applying it (could be because I did do my own colouring). What I love about this product is that it completely covered my greys! It came with a comb-like nozzle as an application process, personally stuck with the original applicator nozzle. The gloves were provided, but fit tiny hands, so used my own disposable gloves. I also liked the clear instructions with pictures for direction of use. The clean up afterward was easier than most home box dyes, just steer clear of absorbent surfaces.
I had orange hair as a result from using L'Oreal Paris Excellence Universal Nudes Universal Blonde 7U and decided to use this box dye in order to correct it. After reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant as many mentioned getting a green tint. Decided to use it regardless and I am glad I did. Colour payoff is definitely cool tone, my hair is now dark blonde and this is exactly the colour i wanted in the first place. Very very happy with the outcome. Only negative is the strong smell, its stronger than the smell you get in any box dye. It comes with a purple shampoo which is very standard quality but also includes an amazing purple hair mask that makes a huge difference and hydrates the hair.
i haven’t used a permanent dye in awhile. the smell of this is quite strong & a little stingy if hair gets close to your eyes. my hair was probably 2 shades lighter & more of a chocolate brown with random greys. the dye did a great job of covering them & toned the brassiness. i wouldn’t say my hair is completely ashy now it does reflect a teeny bit of reddish tones in the sun. the conditioner gives hydration & didn’t make my hair dry/knotty like some do. i’ll continue to use the toning conditioner over the next few weeks & give an update. also gloves in the box are great. they actually fit properly & don’t slide off, covering your wrists too. all in all good for a permanent dye although use plenty of vaseline around the hairline & neck it does strongly stain. i ... Morei haven’t used a permanent dye in awhile. the smell of this is quite strong & a little stingy if hair gets close to your eyes. my hair was probably 2 shades lighter & more of a chocolate brown with random greys. the dye did a great job of covering them & toned the brassiness. i wouldn’t say my hair is completely ashy now it does reflect a teeny bit of reddish tones in the sun. the conditioner gives hydration & didn’t make my hair dry/knotty like some do. i’ll continue to use the toning conditioner over the next few weeks & give an update. also gloves in the box are great. they actually fit properly & don’t slide off, covering your wrists too. all in all good for a permanent dye although use plenty of vaseline around the hairline & neck it does strongly stain. i couldn’t get a random splotch off my leg for a few days.
