I decided to buy this powder due to other reviews saying it's great for those with oily skin and that it lasts all day. I have tried it both over foundation and just over concealer and I can say it is a great powder overall. Pro's: - It does keep the grease away, especially on your forehead! - I found that my makeup didn't look patchy and my face looked very smooth and clear - Easy to apply, especially with the sponge in the compartment below Con's: - The powder does break very easy unlike other more expensive brands, I used it once and it began crumbling in the corners - If not blended correctly it can look cakey. Don't just pat it on your skin. I found that patting it on with a damp sponge (sprayed with setting spray) followed by buffing with a foundation brush ... MoreI decided to buy this powder due to other reviews saying it's great for those with oily skin and that it lasts all day. Overall, the powder is great for the price and day to day wear. It's much cheaper than other brands and I will buy again

I bought this foundation the week it came out, I had read so much about it and was worried i would miss out. Anyway I am usually 150 Radiant Beige in L'Oreal Infallible products so I bought the closest I could find which was 140 Golden Beige but it is to dark, when it comes on sale again I will try the 130 compact. As far as comparisons go, I would describe this formula as a mix between the Fenty powder and the Makeup Forever Velvet Matte Powder, its like you mixed the two together. This foundation is far superior to most foundation powders you will find at Sephora excepting the two I mentioned which in my opinion are the best for "normal" skin. The concealer is ok but I am yet to meet a chemist concealer that can stand up to a high end one. Well done L'Oreal.

I’m not sure if it’s the makeup itself or it just doesn’t agree with my skin so I gave it a neutral rating. It felt really thick on my skin and seemed to separate over my nose?! It didn’t go on smoothly over my nose it looked patchy. I used it with the infallible concealer and foundation so maybe it’s just my skin type?!I was very aware of it on my face and it felt heavy and uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to wash it off at the end of the day. I think I’ll go back to my usual Rimmel radiance.

Decent product
6 September 2022

Its a nice product, gives nice coverage. But if you have acne scarring like me, your going to need to use something extra to cover up those scars (if thats what you want). I personally usually use a liquid foundation plus powder to get the best result. The powder isnt heavy and lasts a very long time. I like the mat look. Its compact, so you can easily take it with you and it has a built in mirror.I chose the wrong color, so it was a little too dark for my skin tone, but Im sure that with the right one it would look absolutely perfect.

Good coverage
15 April 2022

I bought this to use either on it's own or over liquid foundation. For me it worked better with my second option. The colour as recommended in store was good for my skin colour. I have to apply primer before use otherwise it looks blotchy over my nose. I have combination skin. It lasted well for much of the day and settled in to my skin well. I knocked off a star because it crumbled, it hadn't been dropped and the product around the edge of the compact wasn't thin. I have at least 3-4 weeks worth left but may have to give up and throw away, it's just too difficult to use either with a brush or the applicator in the compact. I won't buy again for this reason, a waste of money.

Great for oily dull skin
16 October 2021

After spending a few weeks reading & watching reviews on this I finally took the plunge & purchased the lightest colour.I have large pores, combination/oily skin (I blot every couple of hours). I am very pleased with it, one week in. I use it as a light dusting over my liquid foundation. I initially used it on one side of my face for comparison. Honestly I did not realise how dull my skin looked on the side without. This powder instantly made my skin look naturally better. Used alone looks great too. I appy with a light hand using a brush. I haven't used the sponge that came with it as I feel it would give a fuller coverage. Pores are certainly less noticeable, good improvement but not disappeared of course. It is probably better suited to oily skin types but a good quality moisturiser below should be ok for drier skin types too.

It's.... alright...
20 November 2021

Colour match is good, I've got shade 20 Ivory. Texture is good, and goes on well with the sponge provided. Shine control on my oily skin is average really, like any other powder, I still need to blot throughout the day.Coverage though. Definitely not full as advertised. I can get a good even, medium coverage, that deals with redness, shine, pores. But it does not really cover dark circles or blemishes all that well. Concealer beforehand is certainly needed.I'd buy it again if it was on offer, as it's quick to use if you're in a rush, but it's not worth the full ÂŁ12.99, due to not being full coverage. You don't get a whole lot of powder in the compact either.

Love this
26 January 2023

I have to always balance my foundation with powder so my face doesn't turn oily and shiny in the course of the day. I don't always get it right anyway. I have tried many oil-free foundations and primer underbase and can't seem to find the 'just right' product, my face is mostly left oily anyway.I decided to give this product a try on my day off. This matches my skin perfectly. Only a small amount is needed so not to end up as a caricature. I made a fry up dinner wearing this foundation to test it. My face didn't even look oily at the end of it. I was truly impressed. For maximum effect, I still use an oil-free primer first.

After using L’Oréal infallible 24hr powder for a few years I was gutted to find it had been replaced by the new version. After spending ages trying to find a suitable colour in the new range I found vanilla to be a good match to the previous sand beige. In my opinion it’s not as good as the previous formula. It highlights creases more then it covers and the coverage doesn’t seem to last as long. The foundation also breaks up easily and I had used it for two days before it completely broke up making it unusable. As I had got it on a 3 for 2 offer it was more of an expensive annoyance especially when the second one went the same way and don’t think I’ll bother with the last one.I have since managed to find some of the previous version so bought in bulk. i never really wear foundation so this was a first! i like it tho! is perfect if you want a light coverage foundation. i used the little sponge that it came with first but i didnt really liked the way is applied the powder so i used my beauty blender instead. i liked the way it came out, very light and came together perfect with blush, bronzer and highlighter. its not waterproof sadly but its a small product so very easy to take with you for though ups!
