This is fantastic stuff! I have normal mature skin (not overly dry, not oily, some fine lines) and it gives a very natural coverage. I would describe it as a medium coverage. I honestly can't decide if I like this or Armani Luminous Silk better - I feel like I get the exact same finish from both, so if you don't want to pay for the Armani, give this a go. I have an extremely honest mirror with brutal lighting in the apartment building lift. Things that look great in my vanity mirror will be revealed as cakey, drying, etc in that mirror. This foundation actually looks great! I do not find that it oxidises and it wears well throughout the day. The dropper is dumb, though. A regular pump would be much better but I guess it's supposed to look like a skin serum packaging.

This tinted serum comes in a really easy to use dropper application for the lid and glass bottle. The serum is extremely runny and smooth in texture, definitely full of pigment. I applied the serum over my other daily routine products. The serum spreads and blends very easily, the coverage is surprisingly very good. My skin looks plump smooth and glowing. My skin feels really nourished, not heavy, not oily nit sticky. I followed the serum with a tinted moisturiser and happy to say the result was was fantastic full coverage that was looking fresh plump and glowing. I am so glad to receive this gift to try as I have never herd of such a product that is a hydrating plumbing serum foundation type product. I love the idea and how cleaver and innovative, well done L'Oréal!!
My regular foundation is the L’Oréal Paris True Match original which I love, so I was excited to be lucky enough to test the serum version. The foundation was lovely & easy to blend out, it took its time to set so you had time to blend it out seamlessly. Once set it was a natural semi mat finish, which looked very beautiful on the skin & could be left like that or with a very light dusting of powder if you prefer a completely mat finish. Unfortunately for me the test sample I was give was one shade too dark, but I will be purchasing in the correct shade because it seemed to give an even more flawless finish than the Original True match, plus the original is a lot thicker & heavier in consistency & feel on the skin whereas the serum has a very light, almost ... I read some mixed reviews about this, and I guess the first thing to say is that this isn't a foundation, so if you're looking for fuller coverage, then maybe this isn't for you. However if I do want more coverage, then I'd use Dr Jart Tiger Grass colour corrector (which I highly recommend) to tone down redness on my nose and cheeks, then apply this. I'm not a fan of heavy foundation so I think this could become a staple for me as an everyday product, and coupled with the colour corrector for when I want more coverage. I've used it on top of Erborian Skin Hero and my skin looks really healthy and natural, great for a minimal, no makeup look. It also doesn't feel like I've got makeup on. My skin feels really comfortable, and doesn't settle into fine lines

Some people might find this a bit slippery, runny and sheer but I love the texture especially since I tend to set with powder foundation for extra coverage anyway. I wish they did a lighter shade. If u get a shade that suits and you like a super blendable, sheer, lightweight foundation this is for you. The only other slight negatives I have to say about it is the dropper is pointless it’s no more useful than a spatula which doesn’t work with such a runny formula. A pump would be better though maybe not for the environment. Also there’s quite a strong smell of alcohol off it. It reminds me of the smell of the foundations I used as a teenager in the 90s.

However, it didn’t look pasty or tired looking (even though I did, lol). It even stayed on after my in between shift naps and did not transfer onto my sheets. I would suggest to make sure you exfoliate and cleanse prior, as I noticed that it stuck onto some dried skin when I first used it. However, that day was my lazy day and I made sure to keep my usual skincare routine up properly after this and did not have any problems.
