This foundation was the first foundation I've ever tried and after using an few other drugstore foundations, I can state that this one has been the best drugstore foundation I've used. However, the color match was initially tricky as at first I used C7 as Beyonce was the brand ambassador at the time and it was stated she wore that color 😄 I don't have cool undertones and I don't think Beyonce does either? But, at this time I wasn't aware of undertones so I've come from. The color was also darker on me and was not a true match. Let me start off by saying the packaging came here so well ! It was nicely bubble wrapped and taped so no damaged can be done. I have an uncommon Indian skin it's not too light or not too dark and it ain't "normal" either so it's so hard to find the right shade. I've been using my mom's light skinned foundation for a long time since everything else was "unnatural" for my skin tone. I've looked at foundations at sephora or nyx and anything darker than light skin tone was absolutely disgusting especially the ones that looked as if it would fit my skin tone. This foundation is just okay. It has a natural finish with a very liquidy-runny formula. There’s many shades and undertones to choose from so that’s a plus. Coverage is decent, it covers my redness fairly well. I like to use it to mix in with other foundations but on it’s own I find it doesn’t wear too long, and kind of has a greasy finish if you don’t set with powder. Mixed with the maybelline super stay foundation or a more thick foundation in general this works well but on it’s own it’s not the best. I wouldn’t recommend if you have oily skin. I have normal to dry skin. The foundation also separates in the bottle and all the oil or whatever it is sets at the top and it looks really gross, you can just shake it up to fix it but idk this foundation ... MoreThis foundation is just okay. Fabulous on my 53-year-old skin.

This is fantastic stuff! I have normal mature skin (not overly dry, not oily, some fine lines) and it gives a very natural coverage. I would describe it as a medium coverage. I honestly can't decide if I like this or Armani Luminous Silk better - I feel like I get the exact same finish from both, so if you don't want to pay for the Armani, give this a go. I have an extremely honest mirror with brutal lighting in the apartment building lift. Things that look great in my vanity mirror will be revealed as cakey, drying, etc in that mirror. This foundation actually looks great! I do not find that it oxidises and it wears well throughout the day. The dropper is dumb, though. A regular pump would be much better but I guess it's supposed to look like a skin serum packaging.

First of all the shade range is poor, and buying online is a gamble with picking a shade. Going by the promo pictures it looked like the lightest shade may be too light, the second lightest looked too orange so I picked this one which looked rosier and brighter in tone. However, its too dark for me and looks muddy. The foundation is very watery and sheer so I can see why the skimped on the shade range but it's not good enough. The foundation also covers nothing and is in no way comparable to the normal L'Oréal true match foundation which in my opinion is much better. It has no coverage. The good points are that is is very natural looking and good for oily skins. It's very light on the skin and non shiny. Long-term I would think this product would be drying on the skin. I wouldn't recommend for dehydrated or dry skin types. This foundation is for you if you already have a perfectly even toned complexion and just require a little glow. Because of the shade range, the coverage and the price, I would not purchase again.

Natural looking, feels like skin care combined with subtle coverage

I read some mixed reviews about this, and I guess the first thing to say is that this isn't a foundation, so if you're looking for fuller coverage, then maybe this isn't for you. However if I do want more coverage, then I'd use Dr Jart Tiger Grass colour corrector (which I highly recommend) to tone down redness on my nose and cheeks, then apply this. I'm not a fan of heavy foundation so I think this could become a staple for me as an everyday product, and coupled with the colour corrector for when I want more coverage. I've used it on top of Erborian Skin Hero and my skin looks really healthy and natural, great for a minimal, no makeup look. It also doesn't feel like I've got makeup on. My skin feels really comfortable, and doesn't settle into fine lines

I typically have used very full coverage foundations for years but I wanted a more natural option to have, and I was NOT disappointed with this! You think it won't cover anything but I can not tell you, how fantastic it is! Let it settle for a few moments once applied and WATCH the magic unfold. It covers quite well considering it's a very light and natural foundation, I don't feel like i'm wearing anything. I have quite red congested skin under my eyes and chin and it covers my congestion under my eyes VERY WELL, the chin has ALWAYS been an issue no matter what I use! Anyways, my skin looks so incredibly healthy! The glow is breath-taking and it just looks like my skin is so clear, healthy and plump! Shade range too limited

I am pale with neutral undertones and I usually use the true match foundation in 0.5 so I bought the lightest shade of the serum foundation. It says 0.5 to 2 but it is much too dark for me. I would almost get away with it in the summer months except it also oxidises and goes darker once you have had it on for a while. I like neutral foundations that lean towards yellow undertones but this looks orange on my skin and unlike the regular true match it does not colour correct my complexion which can get a bit of redness at times. Such a shame because otherwise it is a really good foundation for me. Some people might find this a bit slippery, runny and sheer but I love the texture especially since I tend to set with powder foundation for extra coverage anyway. I wish they did a lighter shade. I don’t know why they called it true match when the shade range is much more limited than their regular foundations. If u get a shade that suits and you like a super blendable, sheer, lightweight foundation this is for you. The only other slight negatives I have to say about it is the dropper is pointless it’s no more useful than a spatula which doesn’t work with such a runny formula. A pump would be better though maybe not for the environment. Also there’s quite a strong smell of alcohol off it. It reminds me of the smell of the foundations I used as a teenager in the 90s.
