Second: It deep cleans, calms skin, rinses clean, and has left me with the healthiest skin I've ever had. Non-drying. No clogged pores. No breakouts (like with other products). This is the best cleanser I've ever used. Highly recommend.

The cleansing foam effortlessly removes the sweat, grime & daily build up which comes from city living & even takes off waterproof sunscreen I use gently & without the need for me to double cleanse. I always like minimal cleansing routines & this cleansing foam is it & still gentle enough to be used as a morning cleanse before using any of the soft lotions or soft creams I always come back to. Just soft radiant fresh skin that feels comfortable & free from blemishes & acne which I am prone to when my skin is dehydrated & a little stressed. Skin care 101!

This is a classic case of a good product at a too-high price point. I definitely have a squeaky clean face after use - but sometimes it feels like it has stripped off too much of the oil and my skin gets quite dry. I use it interspersed with a more gentle foaming cleanser. I wouldn't say it's an everyday product at all. For the price, I've used similar french products with the same feel for a cheaper price. My sense is that this product is a bit hyped over function.

First, OK, the price, it's a lot, but this skin cleanser is beyond the ordinary. Wish I'd just invested in my skin with La Mer years ago. I first ordered the smallest size cleanser just to test it out. I used VERY small amounts as suggested by reviewers, and I knew instantly this cleanser was special. It cleans deeply, rinses off easily. It does not leave a coating on my skin, does not dry it out, does not make it oily or greasy. Not only does it perfectly clean and moisturize my skin, it also made the areas of wrinkles smoother, plumper, less lined. I use this with the La Mer skin cream, so if you try this, I recommend getting that too (again, it's pricey so I'd start with the smallest size), but you don't need the skin cream for this cleanser to do wonders.
I keep saying that I'm going to try another La Mer facial cleanser but I keep going right back to this one. This has been my day one cleanser from La Mer and I couldn't be more happier with it. As I get older, I wanted to pay more attention to my skin. About a year ago, I bought three La mer products. Cleanser, treatment lotion and moisturizing cream. I read so many raving reviews and I really wanted to love them. But I couldn’t . They are ok but I can find similar products which are 1/10 of the price. I had to constantly remind myself how much I paid to motivate myself to use the products before they expire..after a year of trying, I just gave up on them.. if you can, try to get the samples before committing to full sizes.

The smell is so so so amazing so if you are really into fragrance you will love this!
