Fake product, don't buy from this seller!!! Just received the original one and was verified by a La Mer sales person at Bloomingdales. The bottles are almost identical, the eye balm inside was totally different. Was white instead of green. Even their other eye balms that are white have different textures, smell and packaging. They don't even have this eye balm it in their original product line.ABSOLUTE FAKE!!!

I had a travel size of this product which surprisingly lasted me 2 weeks when used twice a day. 2 weeks is enough to see at least some results but obviously not enough to see what the product has fully to offer. Honestly, in this case I feel like a lot of reviews comes from “La Mer placebo effect”. Obviously every person has different needs and different problems with their eye area. I’ve tried multiple eye creams by now. I am 33 yo, with a 6 months old baby. I need results. From an eye cream for $260 I would expect pretty much miracles. Or at least more than from other eye creams. It claims to be smoothing, yes it is. Does it work on fine lines? So so. Does it depuff? Not really. It doesn’t claim anything about dark circles and obviously it also doesn’t help with ... MoreI had a travel size of this product which surprisingly lasted me 2 weeks when used twice a day. 2 weeks is enough to see at least some results but obviously not enough to see what the product has fully to offer. That wasn’t my case but I wouldn’t say it made it noticeably better. If somebody gave me this eye cream and didn’t tell me it was La Mer I would put a price tag on it somewhere around $70. And that’s mostly for the very nice smoothing effect and consistency.

I received this as a special size sample.I was not impressed with how hard it was, even after heating it in my hands. It’s thick and even when you dab it on, it still drags your skin.I found it felt more like a heavy stiff mask/cream that just sat on my face, very uncomfortable. For that kind of money, and from that company, I’d expect better quality.I would prefer to spend my money on Guerlain Blue products, their top range, whic are money best spent.Do not recommend. There are many other products you can buy for less and be much happier to use.Cheers!
my eye area has never been the same after using this so called 'soothing' balm. the La Mer rep recommended this for my skin type and sold me the eye balm. it wasn't until I ran into a friend and they told me my skin was red, I was told by La mer my skin was "sensitive to the touch". I saw the many reviews claiming this caused contact dermatitis and redness, and inspired me to write a review to share my similar experience. Reactions can be deadly and I'm FURIOUS from the SCAM that is called LAMER. La Mer needs to recall this product, give everyone a refund and pay for everyone's dermatologist/optometrist appointments for the damage your overpriced horrendous eye cream has caused people across the globe. Stop marketing your products as healing/soothing/miracle because ... Moremy eye area has never been the same after using this so called 'soothing' balm. the La Mer rep recommended this for my skin type and sold me the eye balm. it wasn't until I ran into a friend and they told me my skin was red, I was told by La mer my skin was "sensitive to the touch". I have been using the La Mer The Eye Balm Intense for many years now, and it is quite simply the BEST eye moisturiser I have ever used. I know ... this is a rather big claim, but I have used many brands at every price point, and nothing delivers the same results. My skin is moisturised, smooth, and free of fine lines.People are shocked when they discover my age - I'm 46 - as I have no lines around my eyes, and microscopic forehead lines. This is due to exceptional skin care only - as I have NEVER used Botox or other invasive treatments.THANK YOU La Mer for making such a phenomenal product! x
I really wish I read the reviews before buying this... I am really disappointed in how expensive this product is and the aftermath that occurred with using this product. I received a terrible eye rash from using this. Both of my eye lids are inflamed and I have dark red rash on both eye lids. Under my eyes also has a rash that has peeled. My eyes look awful. Please don't buy this product.
I would give this product zero stars if I could - especially considering the high price point! I have used many different luxury eye creams in the past, as well as other La Mer products. After a few weeks of use of this product, not only is my under eye area more lax, puffy and wrinkly, I have also gotten a red scaly dry rash that will not go away. Absolutely terrible product and I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing, as it seems that other people have had this same issue.
I have been using the Eye Balm Concentrate since 2007. It has been the best cream on the market. However, the most recent jar that I purchased in January 2022 caused the same reaction other people describe: red, scaly, inflamed, puffy under eye area, itching, irritation, additional wrinkles from skin damage. Worst thing, there was no information or announcement on reformulation, so I continued to eliminate other products and using La Mer because I never suspected it to be an issue in the first place. I'm so disappointed and angry. This is not a safe product to use for under eye area. The "new formulation" is damaging and should have never been on the market.
Went to Bloomingdales in Short Hills. Steven was amazing. He recommended a few products and I tried them in the store. My very sensitive skin did not burn or itch.Been using this product twice daily. It is $$$ but… I am satisfied! Everyone thinks my shin looks better. I feel younger
