Pappardelle is a typical format of pasta from Tuscany, very similar to Tagliatelle, but with a thicker shape. It is bronze drawn, making it pasta porous and a good much for strong condiments, like meat and game sauces. It also fits perfectly with simpler seasonings, like tomato and basil sauce.

Amazing Pasta Nests! Product is nicely packaged and looks inviting to be cooked. I decided to use it in my go to dish of creamy scallop fettucine. I would normally purchase the tri-colour fettucine for this dish and it has always been a success. This sample product was $2. 00 for 250gm and the tri-colour is generally around $4. 50 for 400gm so this is actually cheaper than my go to. The pasta cooked to perfection as per the instructions on the packet and was a good colour. It seemed to have cooked up more in volume than I was expecting (or used to with the tri-colour). But honestly WOW! The end result was the best creamy scallop pappardelle I have ever tasted. This pasta took it to the next level. Nice taste and texture. I was happy to be given the opportunity to try this pasta as a bunch sample. The first time I went to redeem I got the wrong one, as the fettucine and pappardelle look the same. When I went back a second time to redeem... success lol. With 2 young kids and very limited time on work days to get dinner on the table, I'm always looking for things that are quick an easy. I had read that this pasta cooked quickly, but my experience was that it was not that much quicker than your normal packet pasta. The taste and texture was nice and even my 5 3/4 year old said she enjoyed it. The little nests were easy to chuck in the pot, although 4 nests was too much and 3 was not enough, so would need to break one to be just right Would I buy again... probably ... MoreNice taste and texture. But I would consider buying it when on special. This review is only my opinion. Thanks Bunch for the opportunity to taste

GREAT! I just had this pasta and it was great, nice consistency and flavour. The only criticism is there is no cooking time on the pack for a rough guide. I cooked it with the wrong accompaniment (my bad) but I had not cooked this dish before so learning from this mistake I would use penne or macaroni next time and save the pappardelle for a more saucy dish. Took me about (didn't time it) 10 mins to cook it to how I wanted it and was nice and separate, not stuck together at all. I will try this product again as I liked it. Ingredients· 1 lb penne rigatoni· 1 cup cream cheese, softened· 1bunch of fresh dill, chopped· 2 green onions, thinly sliced· Zest and juice of 1 lemon· 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard· ¼ cup drained capers· 8 oz flaked home smoked salmon· Salt and ... MoreGREAT! Very nice for fresh pasta that's dry. This pasta was extremely nice in taste, it certainly tasted like fresh pasta even tho it was dry. The pasta could of been sliced thinner, it was on the chunky side. But other then that the actual product was great! My issue would be the packaging. When I added the product to my rewards card I screen shot the page so I would have a picture of the product when I was in store. The picture of the product on the bunch website looked completely different to the package of the product that was in store. It looked fresh and not in a cardboard tray! So I looked for it in the fresh pasta section (not there) I asked for help and I showed them the photo and they had trouble finding it aswell, eventually we did but as we all know the pasta ... MoreVery nice for fresh pasta that's dry. So I looked for it in the fresh pasta section (not there) I asked for help and I showed them the photo and they had trouble finding it aswell, eventually we did but as we all know the pasta wasn't all wrapped up as one but in little rounds (which was nice I did like that) and it wasn't soft/wet in just the packaging, but dry in a cardboard tray way bigger then it needed to be with light blue packaging. So the product was great but the packaging needs alot of work, it doesn't matter how good the product is if people can't find it!
Eggcellent (*groan*). Worst pun in the world aside, I'm a big fan of egg pasta. It's a good combo, one of the classics really. Maybe one of the greatest of all time. I make a lot of fresh pasta at home because it's such a low effort - high reward thing to do, but my Nonna thinks I put too much egg. I disagree. But my Nonna is always right, and I am smart, so I don't tell her she's wrong (even if she is). I highly doubt she's on Bunch, so I am pretty safe here. Anyhoo, back to the task at hand. This is not 'fresh' pasta, as such, but it was an extremely good substitute. Definitely a cut above many other packet pastas out there, and worth the minor (but reasonable) price increase. These pappardelle, in particular, are really nicely portioned, contain a good amount of egg, and lap up the sauces beautifully, as all good pappardelle ought to do. I will be buying this again, and if possible, hopefully you do, too. Just don't tell my Nonna.
Below Average. I am pasta crazy and I don't discriminate, I love fresh pasta, dried pasta expensive pasta, cheap pasta, homemade pasta, filled pasta, any pasta, but this was disappointingly average pasta in my opinion. I still liked it and would eat it again if I was hungry but I would not purchase it at that price. I found in my packet there were so many tiny broken pieces, much more than I'd expect, it seemed like it had been squished under something heavy or dropped multiple times. In my opinion it was too thick and not the best shape for any dish. It didn't have the best flavour and was just lacklustre and below average. I prepared mine according to packet instructions and served with a puttanesca sauce. I had high expectations but they were not close to being met.
Super soft and luscious pasta! I don't often give things 5 stars, but this pasta was super delicious! I wouldn't change anything about the actual product - when cooked it was very soft and noticeably different to cheaper dried pasta (we cooked two lots at the same time to compare and bulk out the meal for our family). It also didn't stick like other pasta even though it was treated and cooked the same. We loved its thickness too. The packaging was also nice and it was eye catching with the big tray. The only thing I'd say is that I normally wouldn't buy anything but cheap pasta for everyday family meals, as everyone here gorges themselves on pasta and wouldn't notice the difference at their age. However, for any special meal or even just for visitors I'd definitely ... MoreSuper soft and luscious pasta! I don't often give things 5 stars, but this pasta was super delicious! Delicious! The pasta was a great size, with it being not too thick and not too thin, and wide enough to have my pasta sauce coat it nicely. It was easy to cook and turned out absolutely delicious, with it not being rubbery or chewy, but also not being too soft. The reason I didn't give it 5 out of 5 is because of issues with the packaging. The nutrition information panel does not conform to Australian food labelling laws as I understand them. It states there are 2 portions per package, with each portion being 100g, which would make 200g total - but there is 250g in the package. It is a big deal, as there are people who need this information to be correct to make medication dosing decisions, and can lead to a medical emergency when this information is wrong. DELIZIOSO. Made in Italy $3. 00 for 250g packet. Found easily in the pasta aisle along with other pasta in the La Molisana range. This range has distinctive blue and cream packaging, which I think looks classy. 6 pasta nests are on a cardboard tray. The top of the packet has a clear window so you can see the type of pasta your buying and if it’s travelled from Italy ok! A number of my nests were broken but to be honest, I don’t think it really matters. Ingredients are simple…. Durum wheat semolina and egg….. that’s it. Cooking instructions are clear, it cooks in only 7 minutes and doesn’t stick together. I made carbonara and it was delizioso (yummy in Italian) This pasta is so good. Italian pasta get in my tummy fasta! This pasta was a little difficult to pinpoint because the picture on Bunch does not match the packaging in store. There may be a re-packaging plan going on with the product. I noticed that if you don't use all the product in one cook, you need to transfer the remainder into a well sealed container as it us not a zip lock packet. Admittedly, this is similar to alot of pasta products. I liked the nests of pasta presentation, making the pasta appear more authentically Italian. I also noted it was more expensive than the cheaper long life pasta brands. I was pleasantly surprised to find the taste of the pasta was better than the cheaper options.
