I've always had issues with sunscreen, until I found this one. I normally don't have sensitive skin, but for some reason, many sunscreens do affect me. Some make my skin feel like it can't breathe, so they make me sweat. Some sting my cheeks. Some irritate my eyes, even if I don't apply them anywhere near my eye area. This one is the only sunscreen that I actually LOVE. It controls my skin's oiliness, because sometimes I get really oily in my T-zone. With this sunscreen, I get a smooth, matte finish. I also have huge pores, so when I wear this sunscreen under my powder foundation, it makes my skin look so smooth and definitely minimizes the look of my pores. It doesn't irritate my eyes, either...no matter how close I apply it to them. This is the absolute perfect ... MoreI've always had issues with sunscreen, until I found this one. I love that it's SPF 60, so I feel confident that it's protecting me from harmful UV rays. I just love it and I think I have found the perfect one for me.

I have to express my disappointment with the Anthelios Clear Skin Oil Free Sunscreen SPF 60 that I recently purchased. My friend, a loyal customer, recommended your products to me as she uses the Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV with SPF 30. I had high hopes for this sunscreen, especially considering my previous struggles with skin irritation and breakouts. However, I am sad to report that the sunscreen did not meet my expectations. Despite its high SPF and water-resistant claims, I found that it left a noticeable white cast on my skin, pilled when I tried to smooth it in, and settled into my lines and pores throughout the day. This not only affected the appearance of my skin but also raised concerns about its compatibility with darker skin tones.I ... I care about my skin’s health, even more so since I stared my new job where I often times work in the direct sunlight outdoors where I’m sweating.-I purchased at Target

I typically love this brand, but that was not the case with this product. I gave it an honest chance and used it for a few weeks with varying amounts/techniques to try to make myself like it and that never happened. This sunscreen looks very streaky when you apply it and it pills SO bad when you try to rub it in to get rid of the streaks. Because of this, it does not wear well under make up (or even without make up). I feel like it can’t possibly be effective as sunscreen due to how bad it pills when you try to blend because it seems like it takes most of it off. I bought this on a whim because it was spf 60 and didn’t check the reviews first and boy do I regret it because it is not cheap.

First, let me tell you a little about myself. I'm in my forties, with oily, acne-prone skin, and living in one of the hottest cities in the USA, Las Vegas, makes my challenges with sunscreens even worse. With the very shiny sunlight here, I have to put on sunscreen even for a very short trip to the pharmacy or grocery store. Almost all sunscreens make me more shiny, oily looking, and even make me break out. Some of them that are lightweight may not cause breakouts but make me look sweaty after an hour of being outside. I have light skin in winters and light to medium in summers, and many sunscreens leave a white cast or show ashy under makeup, especially during summertime. My best tinted sunscreen that I use alone, without makeup, is "Australian gold" which I really love, but unfortunately, it's not good under makeup sunscreen and for days that I need to look fancier or more polished I need to find another clear non-tinted lightweight sunscreen. I love La Roche-Posay products and one of my go-to sunscreens has been "Anthelios Mineral ultra-light SPF 50". But it makes me look sweaty after 2 hours of staying outside on a warm day. So I decided to try this one. It was absolutely beyond my expectations and I finally found my holy grail under makeup sunscreen! It makes me and keeps me matte for hours even under direct sunlight. It does not change the color of my foundation( I mostly use" Dior Forever Clean Matte foundation"). It is very lightweight and doesn't slide or peel, even acts as a primer, smooths out the look of my big pores, and doesn't sit in fine lines. I tried it for a week now with 3 different foundations and it worked with all of them absolutely well. It doesn't have any weird smell and I use it on my under-eye area(not too close to the eyes though) and it doesn't sting nor make my eyes irritated. I'm so picky about skincare and makeup products, but couldn't find any negative point about this sunscreen, absolutely amazed by it! My only advice would be for dry skin people, it may not be a suitable choice for them, as it's really matte, although definitely not flat.
I've used this product for a week as oart of product testing and really like it.It is a thicker cream than the lotion (my dermatologist recommended), goes on smoothly and clear, no white streaks (I'm a bit tan so streaks are easily noticeable), easy to blend into the skin, and doesn't have any sticky/tacky effects. We spent a day at the zoo yesterday, no sunburn. Yay!I don't like to have to reapply with makeup so I didn't put any makeup on while using this product. I don't know if it pills up or not with layering, as I didn't put any makeup on. This tube is small so I think it'd be best for face and not a full body cream.Hopefully they'll make a combo formula like this with physical blockers too for longer lasting coverage (so we don't have to reapply every 2 ... The skin cancer rate here is high due to the high altitude and daily sun exposure. I've trialed a lot of different SPF products and use it daily. This is one of the brand's recommended by my dermatologist.
When I first got this sunscreen I got a terrible white cast and pilling on my face and arms. But a couple of months later I tried using a different way on applying this sunscreen. Instead of applying it with my skin being dry, I tried moisturizing the skin with a lotion/moisturizer first before applying and that seems to help it not give a white cast or pilling. Though it does have a typical sunscreen smell which I personally dont mind as the smell goes away quickly. In general I reccomend this sunscreen but I advise that it is a bit tricky to understand in terms of how to not get pilling or a white cast.
Skin type- super sensitive, acne proneI've tried quite a few sunscreens- hero's mineral sunscreen, eucerin, black girl sunscreen, australian gold, good molecules, and lots more. Those are great, but all occasionally broke me out. I'm on trentinion, and with this sunscreen, I feel protected and I don't feel like it's counterproductive to the retinoid's work on my skin. I've used it for a month now and it's yet to break me out. It leaves the sheerest cast, but hardly noticeable, especially if you wear a touch of any other product really. Will definitely repurchase. A skin safe win!
I love this product! My skin stays shine-free even at the end of the day, and I don't get breakouts anymore. The only thing I don't like is that I have to remove it from my eyebrows after applying it.I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I think there's a specific technique to using this product. I clean and dry my face, apply the sunscreen, wash my hands, and then apply a moisturizer. If I don't wash my hands before putting on the moisturizer, the sunscreen will pill up—no idea why. Since it's a chemical sunscreen, you can apply it before the moisturizer.
Really amazing! I’ve bought a lot of different sunblock and dealt with zits and grease and sheen on my face. Some irritated my rosacea and make me even redder. This is more money than I’ve ever devoted to just a facial sunblock, but with my sensitive skin, copious allergies and aging concerns, this sunscreen is the bomb! Wow. Love it. Not sure how long it lasts at the beach or outdoors, but for my daily use while driving or if I’m running daytime errands I am impressed and I do believe I’ve found my sunblock for my upper body—for life! Thank you creators of this formula! You rule!
I never use sunscreen and since I'm trying to take more care of my skin I bought this sunscreen because of recommendations and some of the good reviews I saw. The sunscreen was easy to apply and blend but as soon as I stepped outside and the sun hit my face my eyes started to get a burning sensation and watery. I seriously thought I had gotten something in my eye but no the irritation kept on going until I washed my face it never crossed my mind that maybe it was the sunscreen but the next day my eyes were fine and again I tried the sunscreen and again the same thing happened. Third day I didn't apply it and did my normal routine and I was perfectly fine no burning sensation on my eyes. One of the chemicals in the sunscreen might not be suitable for all people ...
