I absolutely love this sunscreen. I have very fair skin that burns incredibly easily. I’m so pale I’ve even gotten burns while wearing sunscreen and reapplying every 90 minutes. I won't lie, I have repurchased this product along with the majority of Laroche Posey's sunscreens, but I believe there's products are over priced, so I switched to Korean sunscreens instead. This sunscreen will leave a milky, glowing finish. If you have dry skin, this is perfect for you. I love how it has UVA and UVB protection. it made me feel like like my skin was highly protected out in the sun. I won't forget to mention, this product is thick, I noticed Laroche Posey's "Met in milk"sunscreens get thicker, the higher the SPF is , and also this product burned my eyes, but I continue to use it.

Best sunscreen of all time and I have tried them all!

I’m early 30s and have been skin care obsessed since my teens. I have tried EVERY sunscreen and found something wrong with every kind- white cast, causing breakouts etc besides this one. Yeah it’s a little pricy but very justifiable as it’s perfection in a bottle & lasts me 2-3 months per bottle with daily use. You don’t need a lot as the formula spreads easily. This gives a nice glow that looks natural and non greasy. I have never burned while wearing this and I have been at the beach for 8 hours while using this before. Also at 32 I have seemed to aged in reverse since I began using this 1-2 years ago. I easily look 5-10 years younger than I was looking a year ago. I used to use vitamin c and had to stop due to irritation so it’s nice that this bottle has another type to give some of that benefit. Anyways I really couldn’t be happier and that’s why I’m writing a review. Really there is no comparison to this sunscreen and I will buy it until they stop making it which then I will have a full panic attack LOL

Great for vacation!

Went to Florida for a week and was looking for something to protect me while I was in the sun all day, everyday. It felt nice and there wasn't any white cast or stinging. I have hormonal-acne prone skin that's sensitive and didn't have any troubles with it. The only trouble I seemed to have with it was using it around my eyes. After it set, I rubbed my eyes and it stung my eyes. It lasted for a while afterwards, so I would be careful with usage around the area and not to rub anywhere near your eyes. Other than that, it helped me from getting super sunburnt. Will purchase next vacation!

Perfect product

This product protected my face from reflected sunlight while in the pool as well as walking the beach while I was in Cabo for a week. As I grew up in the sun before sunscreen was invented, this is significantly important to me now. My dermatologist works on my sun damage twice a year. It will be a continuing effort. Product did not sting my eyes and I double applied it to my existing dark spots. I did not tan, unless I added artificial tanners to my face to even out my appearance. I enjoy the beach and the pool, and it's only my face that has suffered major dark marks from 60 previous years. I will re-order as needed. Shockingly Bad With Makeup

Pros: this product doesn't sting my sensitive eyes, and it prevents sunburn.Cons: It settles into the lines of my skin and makes them white. I end up with white lines across my neck, and the visual effect is similar to old age stage makeup. It makes the lines look deeper and more severe. Also, the performance under makeup is appallingly bad. Utterly woeful. I tried it with Bareminerals Barepro pressed powder, and I also tried it with the Lisa Eldridge longwearing liquid foundation, and the makeup looked nice when I first applied it, but then it quickly degraded over the next few hours. The powder foundation cracked so badly that it ended up looking like I had flaky snake scales all over my face. I would recommend the anthelios for a hike, or some other activity where you'll be in the sun but your appearance doesn't matter.

It's not the heaviest or worst feeling sunscreen I've used, but it's enough that it bothers me consistently throughout the day and I actively look forward to washing it off. I've also found that it burns my entire eye area, despite it not bothering the rest of my face at all. Like if I apply this stuff even in the vicinity of my eyes, (obviously I wouldn't put any product super close to my eyeballs, I just mean nearby) the skin in the area is burning like crazy within half an hour. Overall, I'll continue to use this at home/the beach until it runs out because of its effectiveness in actually preventing sunburn, but I won't enjoy it.

Used for high UV vacation; No burns

My requirements were good protection and no white casting. And if someone burned, I wanted them to be protected. No one on the trip burned. It worked so well I wasn’t tanning (and I tan very easily). It took a one hour walk with no sun screen to go from my winter shade to my summer shade. The rest of the trip I made sure I was covered. The only close call we had was someone spent maybe two hours in the water and a couple of hours in the sun without reapplying. It is a lotion so if your priority is not feeling any whatsoever oil on your skin, you may need something more lightweight. But the weight didn’t bother me at all. But I’m glad I bought two bottles because this was my whole family’s go to during the trip. We maybe reapplied once or twice a day. So if it were just me, I likely only would have used less than half a bottle. 5 people went through a bottle in a week of everyday use.

I bought this because I needed a new facial SPF since my usual face sunblock from derma-e is sold out. Im fair, very sensitive and have rosacea so I always stick with mineral sunscreens but based on the reviews and the fact it's for sensitive skin I decided to give this a shot. As soon as I put it on, I felt almost a stinging type feeling in my cheeks, I looked in the mirror and my skin was red and splotchy, irritated my rosacea initially, once that calmed down my eyes would NOT stop watering! I had to get to work on my laptop and I couldn't even see the screen my eyes were burning so bad :/ I washed it off and as I did it left the worst sunscreen tatse in my mouth ugh. definitely not for me. it was greasy upon application too, and I have dry skin.
