This is so far my favourite tinted sunscreen. La roche posay always brought great products, and I’ve never been disappointed so far. If you’re looking for a tinted sunscreen (with different shades that match your skin perfectly) This is the one ! What I preferred? - It lasted FOREVER The bottle is small, but a little goes a long way ! And the best part is that it sticks to your face and nothing will get this off ! Not even your sweat. - Waterproof Speaking of sweat, it won’t move even if you go for a swimming session or if you sweat a lot ! This is BETTER than my foundation. - Tinted The shades are incredible ! They launched pale and dark shades to fit with every skin color So don’t walk.. RUN to your pharmacy !

Best Sunscreen I've Ever Used

I've been using this tinted sunscreen for four months and it has become my hero skincare/makeup product. I wear it over a moisturizer and there is zero pilling. The tint has replaced my use of foundation, and even though this is a seriously protective sunscreen my skin seems to be breathe all day while enjoying nourishment. I am 53 with fairly dry, sensitive skin. I've tried so many sunscreens over the years as I've always been religious about using one, even indoors. I wear this all day every day and I love it. Highly recommend!

Good as a second sunscreen

I personally rate this more as a 3.5. I like the product but I don't love it and I'm on the fence as to whether or not I would repurchase.Cons:-Shade range is atrocious. It's 2021. 5 shades is not enough for *any* tinted skin product, much less one that claims to be up to medium coverage.-It does not have a matte finish. If I use the recommended amount for sun protection it is A.) too dark and B.) the finish is far too shiny. I have oily skin which likely doesn't help but even when going in over a mattifying primer, using a powder, and a setting spray this becomes oily very quickly in the summer heat. It does play nicely with being blotted and re-powdered, though!-It's fairly thick. I find it works best with one of those artis style brushes (Elf makes a dupe!) and then I pat it into my skin with a sponge.Pros:-It doesn't irritate my eyes or cause breakouts. I love that this is a mineral formula instead of a chemical one which feels pretty common amongst SPF foundation type products.-It's a mineral sunscreen with a fairly light tint. Chemical sunscreens sting near my eyes so I opt for mineral, the only downfall being most minerals leave a white cast and tinted ones are too dark. This sunscreen is also too dark (My best match is the L'oreal infallible foundation in the shade Pearl for reference) but it's workable as long as I go in very lightly! I was really hoping that the shade would be paler but it's not. It has a pretty peachy undertone, too.I personally use this the same way I would a foundation that happens to have SPF, meaning I don't depend on it for the SPF. I appreciate that it's SPF 50 and I think of that as a bonus. I use a sunscreen underneath in the recommended amount that way I am able to use less of this so that the shade match isn't awful. I then go in with a concealer that's paler than my skin to brighten up so it's not terrible.I can't say I would recommend it at full price. If you find it on sale, see a shade that you think will match you, then I think it's worth giving it a shot. It's not the worst sunscreen out there and it doesn't irritate my skin which is a bonus!

Holy guacamole this is awful

At first application the color and sheen appear okay. After a couple of hours, I started developing red itchy patches of skin on my forehead and mouth creases. These would come and go. But the worst part is how SHINY this gets. Next time I looked in the mirror I looked like an oily disco ball. And the color of the tint had changed to a sickly pallid white (I suspect the mineral white cast was coming through). I looked positively ill and feverish with the shine and odd color. I tried dabbing the oil/shine periodically with a tissue. This briefly mattified but then the sickly looking shine returned. Won’t be using a second time.

I will repurchase

This is great I’m shocked to see the rating as low as it is. I have sensitive acne prone skin and I am fair. I have struggled to find a sunscreen that doesn’t break me out or cause my oily skin to become even oilier. I picked this up and wasn’t expecting to love it. I figured why not try a tinted sunscreen for the summer so I can avoid layering my foundation over a sunscreen. I was surprised to see how much coverage this has, I was thinking it would be more like a skin tint (which I prefer) but it’s probably more like a medium coverage. So far I haven’t had any breakouts and my liquid blush and contour layer nicely over it.

My holy grail

I bought this on a whim as I was just looking for a tinted sunscreen to add to my routine and I absolutely love it. It is my favourite new product that I've tried. I think the people who don't like it aren't applying it correctly.First, make sure your skin is dry and clean, then apply a light moisturizer. I use aveeno spf moisturizer, then I apply a small amount of this tinted sunscreen and blend it out with my fingers. Always start with a small amount and you can add more and build more coverage from there if necessary. Then I lightly set it with a powder. You can continue to add your makeup on top of that but if you were just looking to use it as a sunscreen, lightly setting it with a powder will help from getting too greasy throughout the day.

Nice but, not for me.

I really wanted to love this product as I have been wanting a tinted sunscreen that matches well with my pale skin tone and that I could wear instead of makeup. This product feels nice and the tint matches well with me, however, after about an hour my skin becomes visibly oily, and the tint begins to crease and moves around on my skin. I have tried using it with and without moisturizer. The only way I find it a little less oily as fast is to use mattifying makeup primer, then the sunscreen with powder overtop. I will use it since I don't want it to go to waste, but I will not be repurchase as it doesn't work for my combo/oily skin.

Perfect as a sunscreen finisher.....

This sunscreen is too concentrated for the recommended 1/4 teaspoon for the face. However, it is PERFECT as a second sunscreen to take away the white cast from another mineral sunscreen (I use Olay Mineral Regenerist SPF 30).It acts like an incredible foundation and evens out the skin tone (I use Medium - it has a strong yellow undertone). It blends into my skin flawlessly. I've never tried a tinted sunscreen or foundation (and I've sampled dozens) that glides on so smooth with zero cakiness. I still can't believe it. I've had no breakouts and it dries down to a nice finish (because I'm only using a small layer etc).I was reading some reviews about only using a pea sized amount. The second picture is of the top of my hand and I'm very tanned and this shade blends right in. As I've said before, this product is perfect as a topper or mixed into your other mineral sunscreen to eliminate the white cast.I'm so in love with La Roche-Posay. I also use their spring thermal water mist after cleansing and my facial redness has cleared up. I've written a review on that product too.

Scent is strong

I have been using La Roche Posay mineral ultra-light sunscreen and was interested to try the Mineral One because it offers different skin shades. However, there were no testers available at the pharmacy and the "light" when I tried it at home, was too light. What bothered me the most though was the overpowering scent/fragrance which did not dissipate for several hours. I am extremely sensitive to scent and am baffled as to why a product for sensitive skin would have this strong a scent. This has made this product unusable for me.

Too greasy and cakey

I have been using it for about 3 months, and unfortunately this formulation still needs a lot of improvement:The coverage is huge, not bad but it does not sit well in tge skin it gets cakey, you need to use a sponge to try to blend it which takes a lot of product off so you will need to apply so little that you never get the spf 50 coverage.Secondly, this is extreme greasy, the face look not dewy but extremely shiny in not a nice look.
