I love love love this stuff. It comes out thick and clear like Aquaphor, but has a much smoother and less sticky texture. This product melts into your hands immediately with the heat of rubbing it in AND is the only product in the entire world that has made my disgusting, chronically flaky and dry elbows heal for more than a couple hours. I also have a terrible habit of picking my lips until they are cracked and bloody, and beyond that they are just chronically chapped. I have tried everything on them from Vaseline/Aquaphor to the Laneige stuff to Lanolips and nothing helps all that much. One day I thought "why not" and put some of this LRP hand cream on my lips (being careful to rub it in with my finger and not get any in my mouth, because it tastes terrible, ... MoreI love love love this stuff. Within 20 min the product had absorbed into my skin and had begun actively healing my cracked lips. Never has any lip product healed them so quickly and completely. If I continue applying a thin layer of this every half hour or so over the course of several hours, my lips become baby-smooth and whole again. So now, just about every night for good measure, I put a thin layer on, let it dry down a bit and then apply an actual lip product over it, and I wake up with the most wonderfully smooth soft lips.

My boyfriend gets ridiculously dry hands year round, but it gets increasingly worse during the winter months. His moisture barrier is often so compromised that his knuckles and finger tips will crack, split open, and bleed profusely. He isn’t the type of person to go out and spend money to remedy the situation and often relies on hand cream that is gifted to him by his parents every year during the holidays… however as someone who suffers from dry skin issues myself during the colder months, I had enough and purchased this hand cream in a gift set that also came with my favourite LRP lip balm. Needless to say he’s been enjoying this hand cream very much and I get a small jolt of pride when I see him reach for it over some other hand creams he’s collected as gifts ... MoreMy boyfriend gets ridiculously dry hands year round, but it gets increasingly worse during the winter months. Another La Roche-Posay product that preforms really well and is worth the price point despite the small volume of product… with that being said, my only gripe (like with a lot of LRP products) is that I wish they would offer more products in their range in a jumbo/value size (for frequent users or allow for more refillable packaging) like they do with some of their body products.

I have extremely dry hands especially in the winter. To the point that my skin will crack and bleed around my knuckles. I've tried many, many different kinds of creams over the years, at all price points with little to no luck. After trying several LaRoche products and being happy with them, I decided to give this cream a try, and I'm glad I did. My hands are no longer hurting, cracked, or bleeding. They actually feel smooth even with all the washing and sanitizer I use. I usually only apply twice a day, once in the morning, and again before bed. It is a thick product, but it absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy at all. I highly recommend giving it a try.

This is the best hand cream I have ever used and that's saying a lot! I have tried Clairns, down to cheap bargin shop brands until I found this. I have a long standing issue with very dry cuticles and the skin around my nails always peeling and flaking. LRP is not quite a cream but like a mix of cream and a soothing gel. It takes so little to rub into my nails and the more you rub the further it spreads. Within seconds it has disappeared into my skin leaving them looking so nourished and loved. Within a few days on using 3times a day I could already see the change in my skin. I will no be buying non other than LRP CICAPLAST!
I am always buying hand creams. From local stores to as far as Clarins. This is by far the best hand cream I have ever tried. I have very dry skin around my nails and cuticles and am always picking at them. Within 3 days of starting with this cream I can see a vast improvement in my skin. The cream is like a gel and cream combined. I find it runs in well and after a few minutes it disappears into my skin and my hands and nails feel nourished for a few hours. Will definitely be staying with this brand in future.
I work in the healthcare industry. With no exaggerations I was my hands at least 50 times a day and also am exposed to harsh chemicals on my hands. The product not only keeps my skin soft and my skin barrier intact, it actually keeps the fine lines plumped up in my hands. I love this product so much that keep sharing with my colleagues so that they know about it as well. I have tried very expensive/ medicated hand creams and literally nothing compares to this.
I constantly have very dry, cracked hands and fingers die to excessive washing, use of sanitizers, and labor around the house that involves heavy hand use. I've tried numerous products to not only heal my hands but protect from further damage. Those products either did not work or caused further irritation due to the ingredients. This hand cream is by far the best I have used. It is healed my hands and provides protection against washing after being applied. This product also does not leave a nasty greasy sticky feel. I am also happy that the product is good to use for sensitive skin and does not have any harsh chemicals or fragrance. I highly recommend to anyone who has tried many other products that did not work, this one does!
I can't believe how magical this cream is. I had eczema - rough patches on the back of my hands and can be irritated if wet or cold for a long time - roughly about a year. I used 2 steroid creams prescripted by GP and it helped reduce the area but it never went away. I thought I would never feel the soft skin of my hands again until my colleague recommended me this one. When I first applied it, it absorb so fast and the next morning I could feel my skin was magically smoother. There were still some bumps or patches at the time. But imagine you had these rough, red, patches for a year then overnight it was smooth and looked skin-like!!!! I keep applying for about a month. Now I almost finish it. I would say my eczema has 99% gone, leaving my skin nice and soft. It ... MoreI can't believe how magical this cream is. I would say my eczema has 99% gone, leaving my skin nice and soft. It gets dry and bumpy from time to time when I got lazy and forgot to reapply for a couple of days, but mainly because I work in a cafe and do the washing up a lot. If I don't work where my hands will touch chemicals or get wet excessively, I think my skin would be back to normal - or even softer than ever. If anyone hesitates, please don't. Get this one. You can't find anything better than this!
Any other hand moisturizer I tried passes straight through my damaged skin, and leaves my hands dry in few minutes. One application of THIS cream and I can put on fleece lined gloves, without shivering with the awful feeling of my cracked fingers' skin getting caught in the fabric. If you understand what I mean, this one is for you. It also acts as a bit of a protection BEFORE using water or chemicals, if paired with reasonably constant use of gloves. Finally, it has no scent whatsoever and doesn't leave the hands greasy, but sleek-smooth and soft, so it's good for work with children or in restaurants.
I live in New England and to say that the cold winter air is tough on skin is an understatement. Between the cold, dry air and washing my hands a lot, due to my job, my hands were a mess! My fingers were cracking and were quite sore. I used several different brands of hand cream and while I would get temporary relief nothing was healing my hands. I saw the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Hand Barrier Repair cream and decided to give a try. I purchased 2 tubes. Within a week of using this cream all of the sore areas on my fingers were healed. This cream is thick but absorbs well and doesn’t feel greasy. I haven’t even opened my second tube yet, a little goes a long way. I will be purchasing again, and will definitely make sure to have a tube of this hand cream with me at ... MoreI live in New England and to say that the cold winter air is tough on skin is an understatement.
