This product completely transformed my skin! I have super sensitive acne-prone skin and am always trying to find skincare products I’m not allergic to. I quickly noticed that this doesn’t leave my skin itchy or dry, so I continued using it. After about two months of daily usage I have no more issues with acne or imperfections. I did not expect this to visibly change my skin, let alone „cure“ it, but it has! I will absolutely buy this again and could not recommend it enough!

Effaclar K, then Effaclar K+ and Effaclar Duo+ used to be the staple in my skincare routine. They have been with me since 2010, good nine years. I always have them in my stash and once/twice a year, depending on my needs will undergo an effaclar treatment. This moisturiser was amazing both in its results and it’s application! I used it twice daily, once in the morning as a priming layer before makeup and again at night before bed. I found my skin to feel brighter and softer instantly, with the effects only getting better with further use! Usually I find moisturisers to lack any distinct smell and if they do it’s typically one that smells very artificial and chemical but with this I found the smell to be one of my favourite things about the product as it was very refreshing! The product itself was very smooth and silky and applied easily to my skin. I love La Roche-Posay products and am a big user of a lot of what they have to offer, I have even got my husband onto some of their products and he isn’t complaining! This is a moisturiser that I find really good especially when it's warm and I don't want a rich, thick, greasy layer of moisturiser sitting on my skin. It keeps oils at bay fairly well, feels really nice on the skin and skins in quickly. I just wish they did different size options rather than just this little tube. Would definitely repurchase.

I have (had) combination skin with hormonal acne along the jawline, and this used along with other la Roche posay products is an absolute lifesaver! I use a small amount on my jawline twice daily I do still have a few pimples, but the majority of the hormonal acne lumps have disappeared.

Oily skin moisturiser

This product is great, I use it under sunscreen before applying my makeup. It really helps keep my spots at bay under makeup. I have tried other Effaclar moisturisers but this is my favourite one I always come back too. Why only 4 stars - the tube size - I would love it if it came in a bigger size.

Surprisingly good for acne

By far the best day cream for my oily acne-prone skin. I initially got this for oil control, but I found that it does an amazing job at reducing my acne as well. I was surprised because it’s targeted for blackheads, whereas I have papule-type acne, mainly on my cheeks. This cream has not only limited the number of new spots, but when one appears it will stop it from turning into a monstrous red lump. I’ve tried various acne creams and treatments (even prescription) and nothing has worked as well as this. I guess it really is about founding something that suits your skin!
