I lightly towel off my face so it isn't dripped wet, but still has quite a bit of water on it. Then following the instructions, I use 3 drops of the serum (more like 3 globs) and rub it all over my face and neck. It absorbs really great within a few minutes and does not make my face shiny! Just moisturized. Just make sure you don't skip the step of making sure your face is moist before applying -- because then it just feels sticky and gross, and I think it's probably not getting absorbed as well either.

This along with the Tourine double repair moisturizer work so well together. First, you only need a very small amount and massage into the face. The more you use the stickier it will feel. You don't need much.. especially if you put it on while your face is still moist from washing. I personally like adding my hyaluronic while my face is still a little wet because it locks that moisture in. If you don't like any fragrance at all then you won't like this. I don't mind a light fragrance and I love the light fresh smell of this. I use mostly fragrance free products and not big on fragrance. After layering the double repair moisturizer and/or SPF over it, the fragrance and sticky feeling are diminished. I can highly recommend this for any one that requires a serum to increase hydration, suppleness and elasticity and to revive tired skin.

B5 Hyaluronic Serum

Really really love this product!! I see some people complaining about the fragrance but to me it doesn't have a fragrance at all. Yes, it has a smell, like everything, but it isn't perfumey or overbearing at all for me. I don't use any products that have fragrance because I can't stand it. But I loveeee how thick this serum is. If feels like an actual serum vs some others I've tried that are liquid and absorb before I can even rub it in. Also, I have had moderate-severe acne for years and this is super gentle on my face and has never made me break-out, which is a must for me. Lastly, I have incredibly dry skin and this has made a huge difference. I can't recommend this enough and it will forever be a part of my skincare routine.

HOLY GRAIL FOR BAD ACNE/SKIN

I have acne-prone combo-oily skin so finding a routine that works for me on top of medications has been tough but this brand’s Effaclar medicated face wash followed by The Ordinary glycolic acid toner followed by the Effaclar Adapalene gel (PM) THEN followed by the Effaclar MAT moisturizer and finally started seeing improvement on my acne. However, it was also flaking really badly and getting itchy. I could tell I was rapidly dehydrating my skin so I bought this serum and after one use my skin finally started to transform for the better - the moisturizer doesn’t dry me out now, the glow is unreal, pimples clear before turning red, pores aren’t visibly clogged, like when I tell you my skin was horrible and this completely improved it I mean it. Holy hydration despite the fragrance

I randomly bought this product just to see how well it performs. I'm very thorough with my skin care routine and hydrated skin is a must. After washing, I normally use cosrx hyaluronic essence followed by dermalogica circular hydration hyaluronic acid serum. This product alone, hydrates better than what those 2 products do together..that being said, the fragrance is strong and could be a deal breaker for many!!! If I were to compare the smell, it smells EXACTLY like the Chanel skin care which is also highly fragranced for no good reason. Folks with Sensitive skin cringe at the thought of fragranced skin care, but I don't find that the fragrance has caused any irritation, the strong scent is just mostly annoying. If you're using it before applying makeup, the stickie effect will grip flawlessly to the foundation, creating a smooth canvas! However if applying it with no intention of wearing makeup, the key is, it has to absorb in the skin which takes about 5-10 minutes, then the "stickiness" is gone and you're left with hydrated glowing skin! I've tried every hyaluronic acid serum on the market and this is the one sis!!

When I did my skincare routine at night, I would wake up in the morning and my face would be flaky and I exfoliate twice weekly. I'm also getting older and I've incorporated retinol into my routine. God help my skin... My Inky List serum was empty and I found myself in Ulta to find the next HA to try. I saw this but was leery about it due to the reviews, but I went for it anyway since I didn't have much to lose. Wow! This serum isn't watery - she is thiccc with 3 c's. Two drops is almost too much but I like to spread it across my neck and upper chest as well so it works out. I can actually let this sit on my face for a few mins before finishing my routine and my face will not be dry at all! It feels heavy at first but it soaks in very well and I'm left with moisturized, dewy, glowing skin even a full 24 hours after application. This serum is amazing and I haven't tried anything else like it. The cons: -I would definitely say this is meant for parched, driest of the dry skin. I can see why oily or normal-skinned people would hate this. -I don't know how well this will wear under makeup. I haven't worn foundation since I've been using it because I actually like the way my skin looks, finally. -There is a light fragrance. My skin is reactive and will turn slightly red no matter what I put on it and this was no exception. However, it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. Could be something to be mindful about.
