If you want to know if this product works: simply put, it’s amazing. This lip balm is incredibly moisturizing and works as a really good overnight lip mask. I wake up in the morning with the softest lips. And there is no gross taste or smell! HOWEVER this lip balm has a TON of weird ingredients that give me pause. I think the clinical-esque packaging enhances my hesitation on these ingredients (this looks like a medication not a lip balm). So I’m hesitant to continue to use this until I do some real research on some of these intimidating ingredients—especially because this goes near my mouth. But if this isn’t something that you consider when buying a product, at face value this really is a nice lip balm and I would recommend it based on that alone.

I love lip balms , but this one is different. It’s clear has no scent or color. Personally for me I love lip balms that have color in them/scents. I used this product in many ways; the first time I used it by itself and it did what it claimed which is to keep my lips hydrated. The following day I mix this clear lipbalm with a lipstick to make my own custom lip balm and it worked. Lastly, I applied this lip balm first then a lipstick over it and it worked well. This lip balm does exactly what it’s supposed to do . But , don’t get it confused with a liquid lipstick, they are very different. This will transfer , not kiss proof and not water resistant. This product is AMAZING! If you have chapped or extremely dry lips I would HIGHLY recommend this product. It’s not your average lip balm. This product does not have a scent and it’s not greasy. It goes on your lips smooth and you can feel your lips feeling better already. I used it for 24 hours - I applied it 3 times out of the 24 hours and my lips were severely chapped and they are healed after 24 hours of using. It’s a small little tube fits anywhere goes on smooth easy cap to remove and close when done using. I was excited that they came out with this lip balm. I enjoyed the thicker texture and found that it did melt and spread on the lips easily. It did feel moisturizing, but I had to deduct a star because it’s not super long lasting.I liked the hygienic aspect of the squeeze tube. This way you are not dipping your fingers into a pot and possibly contaminating the product. You do have to give the tube a good squeeze since it is on the thicker side. It also gives your lips a nice shine but it’s very temporary. Overall I like the product for a quick lip pick me up. Cicaplast Lips - Great for some, but not great for me

It looks like this works wonders for some, and is a disaster for others. I'm in the latter category. I use the regular Baume B5 therapeutic skin cream on my face and it is wonderful for me. I have used this lip balm every night (a reasonable amount, I don't think I've been over-using it or anything) for two weeks. I wanted to give it a proper shot and maybe two weeks isn't long enough but I don't think I can keep up with it. My lips are just a peeling mess. Prior to using this my lips weren't too bad, I just hoped that maybe this balm would make them "100%". It did not. It definitely is the cause of my badly peeling lips. There must be an ingredient that I am sensitive to, or I don't know what... New Favorite Lip Balm!

I've never bought a lip balm so many times so quickly... that's how much I've loved this product. Here's why: it has gentle, trusted ingredients. It does have Sodium Saccharin (a sweetener) in it but no fragrance or other flavoring. It moisturizes and applies like a balmy chapstick and then dries down. It's a different feel than vaseline-type products b/c it's more of a matte moisturization which is unique. It's great to use before a lipstick or gloss. If you want a thicker goopy balm, this isn't it but you could use a thicker application or apply a basic goopy balm on top over night to seal in the moisture from this LPR balm. I have a minimum of two on hand at all times!

Much like the other reviews stated, I love LRP products. It is one of the best, least irritating brands I've used for my dry, ezcema, and rosacea-prone skin. That heing said, this cicaplast lip balm isn't perfect and it's cons will keep me from repurchasing.The product leaves a white film/cast on the skin of my lips and alomg the lipline, which means I can't use it during the day. The consistency on the lips is... odd. It's almost between a balm and a greasy emollient... it's far too distracting for me (I keep rubbing my lips together thin it) and may not be for everyone.The packaging is a squeeze tube and if you aren't careful, may dispense too much product, which you either use or wipe off, and that can be wasteful.Finally, the price and amount of product, ... MoreMuch like the other reviews stated, I love LRP products.
