Changed the game for me!

This was the first time in me trying retinol in my skincare routine. Something I had been thinking about for a while but a bit nervous. I thought with this one being suitable for sensitive skin would be prefect for me. I started off by using it every other evening. I had no irritation at all. I would say that I got a little bit of a ‘purge’ around my chin but I did expect this but they went as soon as they came as this product speeds up the cell process. I have been using it now for 6+, I wanted to wait to give an honest review. I can honestly say my skin does appear to be smoother and any dark spots I had have almost faded away. Really please with this product and I will definitely be purchasing it and keeping in my routine.

I received this retinol serum to review as a member of LRP's skin community. I admit I was a little nervous! I read about how retinol can cause skin irritation and increases sensitivity to sunlight. Hence only to use at night. So I proceeded cautiously - just using once a week initially to check for any sensitivity. Everyone's skin is different, and some are more sensitive than others.My skin certainly appears firmer, and I can see how the wrinkles, particularly on my forehead, are less pronounced, so agree there is a filling and smoothing effect.Not only am I benefiting from the wrinkle-filling and firming benefits of this retinol serum, but it encourages skin cell renewal, helping to unclog my pores, which is excellent as I am prone to blackheads and blemishes. I'm particularly seeing clearer pores on my cheeks which is fantastic.Overall it's a triple win for me - it works for my sensitive skin, and it's actively addressing my two problem areas - ageing and blemishes. It's a keeper, and I'll set up a subscription for this retinol serum as soon as I've finished the whole bottle.

Finally - Retinol that Doesn't Tear Your Skin Up

I absolutely love all La Roche Posay packaging, the different colours help me to distinguish between my products. The distribution dropper is easy to insert and easy to use. It contains niacinamide to brighten and improve hydration. It's job is to gently exfoliate to soften the look of wrinkles and hyperpigmentation on the skin. It absorbs beautifully into the skin, I initially used it every other day so my skin could become used to it. Now I apply it every night and then apply moisturizer to stop the skin from drying out. I can see early signs of it working as my skin looks brighter and some wrinkles look less visible, the deep '11' on my forehead is the most improved area. Very pleased

I bought this product about a little over a week ago so I have initial impressions. I have sensitive skin and find it non-irritating and have fine lines being I am 48. I used to use full strength 0.1% retinoid from my dermatologist) however I am finding that is making my skin too dry. When I had acne I was seeing another dermatologist and a rep would come in selling the vitamin c cream from La roche posay. This was in the late 90’s. So I used it then. La roche is quality. I bought the hyaluranic acid b5 but haven’t tried it yet because I have to finish my other brand 1st. This product has hyaluronic acid in it. So I am already seeing a plumping effect. This product is silky and moisturizing. I find it is taking care of my fine lines. It is 0.3% retinol.
