I got the La Roche Posay Serozincist as soon as my dermatologist recommended it to me. It promises to control the oiliness and shrink enlarged pores. Being zinc the star ingredient here, I knew it would be good a good product for me. In terms of controlling the oiliness, it did a pretty decent job but there's no miracle. I feel it kinda withheld the shine for a while but it had to be reapplied during the day. I didn't see much difference on my pores, to be honest. But the best use for this mist I found to be after having my make-up done. Lately because of how irritated my skin can get; I now only use Dr. Barbara Sturm skincare and her supplements to help skin from the inside out and after I started using it and now after a few months; wow realized this brand is for real and my skin has never felt better so I haven’t used any other brands other than hers but when I saw this and saw the ingredients which are excellent I gave it a try and I will definitely be repurchasing for me it helps some of my skincare sink in a bit more I have found which is awesome for the days I need my skin cream to sink in fast so I can wear makeup on the days I work. It feels more like a great pore-sealer; though I can understand why some would call it a toner only because it does sometimes feel like a pore soother if I have gone too far with an acid peel, or if I have neglected to properly cover my face with sunscreen (which we all know I need to do, due to my use of AHA and BHA to combat my acne). Anyway, this spray is tops - it lasts a while, it is a great price - and also, I've sprayed my scalp with it when it has been irritated from sunburn or seborrhea. This product is great! I wish they sold it in stores too!!

I love it for my oily pregnant skin!

This product WORKS! My skin has been so oily and pores clogged from being pregnant. I searched for safe solutions and found this product. At first, I tried to use it as a finishing spray and it was a little too irritating for me. So instead, I started spraying this on a cotton pad mixed with my pure salicylic toner. Weirdly it works! No sensitivity and my pores are tight and oil reduced. My breakouts are clearing! I highly recommend La Roche Posay products they are all of quality and fantastic.

Keeps breakouts away

I bought this after seeing Caroline Hirons suggested it. I truly have seen that this keeps my breakouts away for someone who breaks out A LOT and has acne prone skin. I believe it’s the zinc that does the magic. I use it after I’ve cleansed my face, before my serums. If used consistently I only breakout during time of the month and that too at a minimum!

Not thinking much, I thought I’d try it one day and I’m so pleased i did! My skin is prone to break outs and this toner clears up my spots over night. My skin is completely different and brand new! Another example of how great this is, a couple of weeks ago I was unfortunate enough to suffer a black eye at the hands of a faulty loft hatch and I bruised up immediately. Not wanting to touch the affected area but wanting to keep it clean, I sprayed some of this toner on it to help as I’ve always believed that zinc was a saviour, and boy did it do wonders. Multi Use Serozinc!

I really like Serozinc for the simplicity of ingredients, for its light make up setting abilities, and for general shine and pore reduction. It’s not a killer setting spray (I use krylon for that) but for my daily natural look with BareMinerals sunscreen tinted moisturizer, I feel like I’m nourishing my skin - and hair- while maintaining a clean look. I even like the salty seaside taste!

New toner experience

I've never used a spray-on toner before, and I will say that it's been an enjoyable method. I like the aspect of letting it sit for a while, and then pat-drying. It's just something different, and it feels light and airy on my face. Moreover, it doesn't burn at all, which I've experienced from other toners. I did read from other reviews that this helps with oily skin, which was the chief reason that I bought it. Unfortunately, I can't say that I really noticed a difference after using this whole bottle. My skin was still oily after I put my moisturizer on, which leads me to believe that it's a joint effort between the right toner and the right moisturizer to really mitigate oil. Serozinc - La Roche Posay

I have suffered with acne rosacea for over forty years and have spent thousands of pounds on finding products that control my problem skin. Serozinc is one of the products; it is cooling, tones my skin after cleansing, tightening the pores but best of all it contains zinc which helps with stopping breakouts. Brilliant in the summer as a refreshing spritzer. I can’t be without it!

I have used at least 30 bottles and it is a must have product. Serozinc is also great for calming the skin. I use it as an intro cleanse every day after washing my face and drying off with a disposable face towel. This leaves a small amount of water on the face as a moisturizer & second cleanser. The spray is very fine (pov, 150ml is the most suitable, and the spray with a larger capacity will not be able to spray a very soft fine water mist while keeping using). It doesn't hurt to spray it in the eyes. Occasionally, it can also be used as a moisturizing spray for daily use. Btw, some articles seem to say that mineral water has a certain "isolation" effect. So that might impact the uptake of subsequent products, FYI.
