I had to blend it in for quite some time to avoid streaks and product clinging to dry patches. The final result on my skin didn’t look too different from a light application of a sheer skin tint like Glossier’s, which is my preferred foundation product (though this is very matte, unlike Glossier’s). This made me afraid to apply other products on top (pilling is obviously a deal-breaker), and it’s not worth it to me to test each of my sunscreens with this product and risk a total wasted application.

I was so excited to receive this product, because I had just started tretinoin, and was experiencing the common redness, peeling, and retinoid purge, and I was hoping that this product would make the transition much smoother. Receiving it, it’s a good little moisturizer. It’s something that I apply under my sunscreen in the morning, But it wouldn’t be enough as a moisturizer for me and my dry skin in the winter. I also think that some of the tint is wiped away when you put sunscreen over this product, which is disappointing, because sunscreen is much more crucial than the green tint. I’ve also found that you really can’t use more than two pumps of this product without it starting to clump up and become visible on your skin. It is nice to help even out some of the redness, but it doesn’t do a lot for aggravated acne breakouts. I think I use less concealer and foundation on the days that I use this product, but, if I use a green tinted product in the future, I’ll reach for one with more blend ability and moisturizing.

Amazingly effective

Creamy Color Corrector

This moisturiser is a thick cream with green colour corrector. FYi, i am around NC 25-NC30 (mac studio fix fluid) for skin tone reference. I find that this moisturiser works best alone with no additional or heavy makeup on top of it. This is because of its thick consistency. One pump is for the whole face or 1.5 pumps to cover your neck as well. Since this has a colour corrector I do not think it is best for any skin tone darker, it will make you look ashy. Also i tried using serum foundation on it too and it creases and even started pilling. I tried this for 3 weeks on daily basis so my results are pretty consistent as I received this to trial - toner plus this moisturiser and sunscreen are the perfect steps. For redness, it does help but I can still see my rosacea and redness when it flared but it does give a nice glow on days I don’t have flares. I think it is nice if you also don’t have a lot of bumps as the glow accentuates your skin textures. So maybe a younger skin is great (i amAlmost 40) so I have fine lines - bumps- smile wrinkles and unfortunately this product does highlight them. Overall, i wish i could give this 3.5, not bad but not that awesome either. Quite pricey for its performance to be honest but I guess it is pretty standard from LRP.

While I had some cakiness I do believe it was likely my skin and it was perfectly ok once I re-applied the product.

Good for sensitive and redness prone skin

I was looking forward to giving the La Roche Posay's Toleriane Rosaliac AR moisturiser a try. I have really good experiences with La Roche Posay and have used the brands products for years and as someone who has sensitive allergy prone skin, redness, eczema and a severe fragrance allergy. I have never used anything from the Rosaliac line before but have tried the Toleriane line. Currently due to weather and dryness, I have consistent redness under and in the creases of my nose, my cheeks and chin.I really enjoyed this moisturiser. I love the packaging which is mess and waste free, and very hygienic. The moisturiser truly has no scent, and was a medium thick consistency. I feel that I did start to notice easing of the redness on my chin after about 2 weeks. I usually put a dab of concealer on my chin to cover the redness, but I have not needed to do this over the past few days. I’m looking forward to continuing to use this moisturiser. I will continue to use it up and hope for further improvement on redness.

Great product, beautiful hydrating moisturiser

I am a mature woman of 66 years old. I have dry, red skin which can have flair up's at times and be red and itchy. I found the La Roche Posay's Toleriane Rosaliac AR Moisturiser beautiful to use. It had no fragrance to speak of, which is great as so many other products are highly perfumed and just irritate my skin more. It glides on smoothly and has a lovely texture about it, and as my skin is dry it soaked in and hydrated my skin well. It didn't leave any sticky residue at all. The green colour is a bit off putting at first as you think you will end up with a green face, however the green goes away as your skin absorbs the product reducing the redness instantly. I have only used it the morning.I have used it without make-up for the day on the week-ends and it is lovely on my face evening out my skin tone, so much so I don't even feel like I need to use a foundation of powder product over it.The instructions on the pump bottle suggested I use Toleraine Dermo Clenser which I don't have and also Anthelios Invisible fluid Sunscreen which I don't have either. The moisturised that I usually wear has sunscreen built into it, so am not sure how I would go in summer using this product as I need a sunscreen and so many of the sunscreens I have found are greasy and my makeup does not go on well over them. I may need to try the Anthelios Invisible fluid Sunscreen maybe this one would be better under my makeup.I would recommend the La Roche Posay Toleriane Rosaliac AR Moisturiser to anyone who has redness in their skin tone. I will definitely be continuing to use this product, and at $44.95 I feel it is a great product at a reasonable price.

Instant redness reduction!

I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this moisturiser but I was pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t expecting the green tint of the cream but thankfully when applied it’s not noticeable at all. It instantly improved the redness of my face right after application and a little goes a long way with this moisturiser. I liked that was still able to be used with my regular spf moisturiser on top without affecting the texture too much. My makeup was still able to be smoothly applied on top, however the additional hydrating effect of this moisturiser meant it didn’t have as much staying power on my naturally combination yet sensitive skin. It doesn’t have a scent to it which I liked and the size of the product is great and will last for ages! I'd need two if I also wanted to sweep in onto my neck. The moisturiser reminds me of sunscreen - in that it feels thick and takes awhile to sink into the skin. I did find that my skin felt a little bit tacky afterwards which I wasn't too keen on. However I was able to apply makeup over the top with no dramas. There wasn't too much (if at all) of a fragrance which was fine.My problem area on my face with regards to redness is my nose. No matter what I try I always seem to be red there.
