My initial reaction when using this moisturizing cream was how thick it is. It's incredibly easy to smooth on the skin and you dont need a lot of product to cover your entire body. Another ingredient is Shea Butter. These are great ingredients, in winter, because it's for extra dry skin. It's also accepted by the National Eczema Association. During the winter months this is absolutely what my skin needs and I look forward to using it then, when I know my skin will absolutely drink it in and love it. But, right now it's summer in the Midwest and temperatures have been high 90s/ low 100s for several weeks and with the high humidity that comes along with that, it's just too much moisture for my skin to handle. Other than that, this product is amazing. Not only for it's Eczema relieving properties but also because it's suitable for babies and adults. It's also suitable for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. (Consult your trusted medical professional prior to using.) The bottle is also made from 96% recycled plastic (excluding pump). It's also incredibly affordable. I highly recommend this moisturizing cream for extra dry skin.

Soooo, when I saw this at Target while I was on a hunt for a less expensive substitute for Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2, I went for it! And I am so glad I did! I mix it with my Tretenoin nightly and I use it after treatments like micro-needling and chemical peels. Triple Lipid Restore is amazing, but it’s $150 a jar! So when I saw LRP Lipikar AP M Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream on the shelf for $14.99 and remembered all the good things I’d heard about LRP, I figured I’d go for it! I’m so glad I did. I realize Triple Lipid Restore is in a class by itself, but I think this is an amazing near-dupe for $15! It really feels like the key to my skin’s lock! I’m 54 and I have dull, dry, thirsty, somewhat sensitive, mature, sun-damaged skin and my skin can never get enough hydration or glow. This cream sinks into my skin, it doesn’t stay on top or slide-off. It melts into it yet leaves it dewy. :)

Cancer patient friendly but it needs a sturdier closure

Extremely great specs and size for the price. One of the few affordable and over the counter moisturizers I've seen with a label indicating is suitable for chemo/radiation patients. The new Eco-conscious tube idea is an extra bonus for me. Having said that, I don't feel confident about the cap. Is very thin and if it breaks it can't be easily fixed. This doesn't allow me to take the cream out of my apartment; which lessen the value of the product. Any type of rough movement inside a handbag, gym bag, or if you share the tube with someone who doesn't open it gently, can cause the flimsy closure to break. The cream is very thick, it will last forever. I looked at the ingredients and there is now shea butter in it. Shea butter is so comedogenic and only meant to be used on your body (if at all). Along with the appearance of it and the way it clogged my pores it also made my skin feel burnt and weighed down. Not to mention the way it sunk into all of my fine lines. This is my first impression of this brand along with the Anthelios Melt-In Milk Sunscreen and I'm highly disappointed in both. In conclusion this product is terrible for facial use but would probably be useful if you have dry feet and are able to cover them with socks before bed as to not stain your sheets.

Love the lotion, but won't buy again because of packaging

I really like this moisturizer, the consistency is thick and moisturizing. And it helps keep my skin moisturized all day. I have been using it as my everyday body moisturizer since I've had an outbreak of eczema recently. I've started using it on my face because my face always gets super dry in the summer months. The only thing I dislike about this is the bottle and pump, which is why I gave it 3 stars. The product has a thick balm consistency, almost vaseline type thickness. I don't know how someone is expected to get this product through the pump. When I first bought it, I had to pump it maybe a hundred times before it started pulling product up. On the skin though it feels pretty much the same. The main ingredient difference between the two seems to be that the old one had mineral oil while this one doesn't, and this one has ceramides while the old one didn't. You can find the new ingredient list on the La Roche-Posay website since Ulta still shows the old one. Overall thoughts: Overall I still like this moisturizer and will continue using it; I still haven't had any problems with it breaking me out. But I did like the old one a bit more and I was frustrated to not know I was getting a different product when I placed my order, so hopefully this helps someone with that.

I have been using this moisturizer for 8 months now. I originally tried it in an effort to counteract the drying and reddening effects of the changing seasons towards winter. Most other products were making my sore skin worse - even those which marketed themselves as for sensitive skin. I love that this product is alcohol-free. I also love the gel-like consistency, which absorbs quickly but has a pleasant plumping effect - like my skin has just had a super fruit smoothie. As a busy mum, I like products which are multi-purpose and this cream does everything it promises and more. I am delighted to finally find a cream which calms my skin whilst also giving it the right amount of moisture without clogging my pores. It’s close to genius. Super moisturising! Lovely creamy texture and feel

My absolute two fave moisturisers have been Stratia's Liquid Gold and FAB's Ultra Repair Cream for a LONG time. This is now on my top 3 of all time. It is HIGHLY moisturising and the ingredients *chef's kiss* Its texture is this thick creamy but just right amount of sheen and feel the previously mentioned fave products lacked. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone. It has no fragrance and has skin protective qualities to it. My skin consist of high sebum production, large pores, and acne. Oils and moisturisers such as thing one get a bad rep because "my skin's too oily for that!" NOPE. It's affordable, large, and effective.
