The Mutant by La Sportiva is a versatile, extremely stable trail and fell running shoe, suitable for a variety of off-road terrains from mountains and muddy hills to fields and parks. This latest edition sees a few refinements, whilst keeping the overall structure of its popular predecessor. The lacing system has been adjusted to give a more secure fit and hold, so important when running on rough terrain. The new upper design is inspired by the topography of the Val di Fiemme valley. The ultra-sticky rubber sole means you can run confidently on even the slickest of rocks, the grip works well in mud, and the cushioning offers protection when you’re running on firmer ground or over longer distances.
